  1. To me that lure look as much like a real dying bait fish as any real dying bait fish Ive ever seen, especially when he draged it slow than darted it real fast. I don't think a fish analyzes things as much as we think, well maybe not to notice a fishes head is swaying too much. That bait looks like it would get a raction strike from mosy bass just IMO though

Never fished frogs, but since ive been in FL thats all i here about. specifically soft plastic topwater frogs seem to be working well. Whats everyone favorites? plus techniques since mine seems to be lacking a bit
  3. I came off the plane and literally an hour later i was at that park with Avid, West palm dude, and New 2 bass along with some others. We all cought at least 6. If im not mistaken West palm doos pb 8 lbeer comes from there

  6. I really had the time of my life. This forum never ceases to amaze me, the guys on here are really honest, super freindly and knowledgable people. Didn't even know if i was goona find them , but the two guys in bass shirts one of them being a bass resource shirt made it pretty easy to pick them out. I really cant wait to get back out there with these guys. Hasnt been but 2 days in FL but im in love, about 10 bass cought so far and one cat (my first ever!!!) Thank you guys soo much for such a spectacular welcome

  8. Hey I want a special color too ;D Anyway great video and catch I'd love my first FL fish to be at least close to that size
  9. Aint that a purdy mouth ;D ;D
  10. And i was soooooooooo excited lol
  11. Haven't caught a darn thing using the 4 incher, 5 inches a little more luck, than the 6 inch ahhhh perfect. Flexible decent size and casts like a missle. Now as for the 7 incher I'm dying to get my hands on it as well as the 10 incher i think would be great for here in NC and Florida when i get there. But my Pb came on a red and black colored senko and I'm quite fond of that size and color. Much to Respect Mr Yamamoto!!!
  12. this is a wealth of jig information at the right time. Just got a Plano tackle box full of assorted jigs for Christmas, rattlers, spider jigs, and heavy ones also. Problem was I'm a horrible jig fisherman but its time to stop ignoring this bait. Thank you soo much for a great article perfect timing. Also i couldn't thank you and the rest of our boys overseas enough, you make this country free and make me proud to fly the red white and blue colors. Come home safe and soon brother
  13. Ive fished them in several colors from flesh to chartreuse to junebug with no luck there VERY stiff and don't have much motion at all, now the night crawlers on the other hand . Get a pack of those in flesh or pumpkin seed even black and sit back and reel in the fatties. Virtually every big bass Ive caught has been of on of these. Also another tip is don't buy the old packages that have a hard plastic trey I'm telling you for some reason and I've done lots of testing with this theory, they just don't work as well. Maybe its an older formula but i find they almost repel fish where throwing a night crawler and twitching it at the bottom brings the big uns. But IMO put those sinking minnows down and pick the night crawlers up.
  14. ;D ;D ;D that was great
  15. 11lbs?? if so thats a beast of a trout, any pics??
  16. umm heres a video of a pike eating a bass....... granted its a smallmouth http://www.fishfever.com/node/25

  18. lol thats a great pic cart. The biggest fish ive ever lost was right at the shore, broke my cheap $20 rod and reel combo to peices. Shes was about 4 lbs maybe a heavy 3lbs but she looked great huge mouth but short fat body. went to lip her and she did i nice liitle head shake and broke my line than i backed up and fell up a on the sidewalk ;D In the past o would have been mad but i just had to laugh it off cause she gave a great fight and gave me real good confidence in dual toned senko's
  19. Im a huuge lunkerville fan, ask mike lol. It made me a bigger fan when i sent an email and he replied, mike D's good people. 22. Awsome catches, as always. I see your still producing with a pumkin senko on there, do you use that bait year round?
  23. Ive cought large and small fish waiting and letting the fish take the bait than setting the hook. Ive also caught fish settng the hook imediatly. Having lost fish using both methods, what does everyone prefer?
