  1. The bleeding bait concept is not a marketing ploy, KVD said himself that he is a HUGE believer in this idea and uses flashes of red as well as red trailer hooks on his spinnerbaits. Many other predators in the wild are attracted to the color RED as well, and there is a reason why stop signs are RED..high visibility. Fish feed by sight....
  2. In my opinion just go out and throw them on 8-10lb line and see for yourself.
  3. Some flared out from trimmin...just trying to cut them back all the way to the head
  4. I dont pour my jigs..mike from siebert outdoors does
  5. Is there any tool specifically made for this? I'm trying to snip off the excess weedguards i trimmed sticking out from the head so that they are snug to the head. Its hard to do it with regular wire snippers. thanks -wm
  6. I'm going to be showing you very soon in a detailed post. Stay tuned
  7. Actually Randy Howell won the classic throwing a Rapala DT in Demon color, he even released the go-pro video of it...lmao
  8. Early spring/pre spawn: jigs worked slowly, rapala cuntdown minnows, 78 size jerkbaits mid spring/spawn : swimbaits, bladed jigs, spinnerbaits, havoc pit boss late spring/postspawn: 7" berkley power worms, - anything that works the activity zone of the postspawn fish
  9. Or you could just throw a Rage Tail shad and have better results and bigger fish....just saying
  10. This is exactly why the problem is bad, because fishing is a very physical sport, we need to be at our full physical potential when on the water to really make results, the same goes with the mind, when the mind is low on sleep neuro functions are restricted which could cause for any number of different problems on the water. Its great that a lot of you share the same problem, I guess it just means were all fired up to go fishin!
  11. Yeah I was thinking the same, just wanted to make sure the setup was balanced, this combo is going to be super light which is definitely what im going for.
  12. Looking at the: Pflueger® President® 6900 Series Spinning Reels Wondering which size I should get? 6930: Line capacity: 6/145 or 6935: Line capacity 8/125 This will be paired with a 6'8 medium extra fast action Carbonlite rod which one you think will fit the rod/techniques better? Im leaning toward thr 6/145 but not quite sure...also there is almost an ounce difference between these reels so im trying to keep my setup pretty lightweight
  13. Sounds like your going to have the nap of a lifetime after that trip sir
  14. I don't know about yall...but the night before a tournament and sometimes just a regular day of fishing I find it near impossible to fall asleep. All I have going on in my mind is my setups, where im going to be fishing, my tackle, visions of me catching fish the next day etc. Does anyone else have this problem and what are some of your counters to it?
  15. Bps does carry it because I've held it at the store.
  16. No Vandam would beat you with the cheapest baitcasters they sell I bet.
  17. I held the tatula a few times, they seem a lot stiffer for the mentioned action....just a heads up
  18. I dont think Siebert Outdoors Jigs are on TW are they? :D
  19. No dont buy yet, you need a pack of Smokey Shad for the Rage shads, thats the best color....pearl is fine but always make sure u have at least 1 pack of smokey shad...trust me im the master of this bait
  20. You will perish!
  21. Did you find any good new stuff? I could really use som......
  22. Buying fishing tackle, the ammount of lures, plastics, and wire type baits i have is just re-donculus.. It's an addiction....a very sick addiction that is sucking the life and money out of me... I would appreciate it if you all would keep the Lure posts to a minimum or I might need TD Bank to put a restriction on my credit/debit card. Thank You -WM
  23. 7" Berkley Power Worm Red Shad
  24. I would never throw one of these things, the whole idea is just silly to me. I' dont think theyll last long in the livetarget lineup
  25. The worm and jig rod seteup you posted seems pretty bad ass, but what are you doing with it? Theres many different styles of fishing a jig and a worm are you casting the jig? swimming it? pitching it? That rod seems too short for pitching and flipping which is a pretty important for pitching a jig and or a worm I'd recommend at least a 7 foot rod for this. Preferably i'd want a 7'6 rod. As far as your cranking setup you mentioned it really depends on the size of the cranks your throwing.
