  1. I really like the Wright & Mcgill skeet reese spinnerbait/worm rod. The rod has just enough tip and amazing flex to it with a good parabolic bend for spinnerbaiting/chatterbaiting. Mind you, the rod is medium action so I only throw 14/ounce -3/8 ounce spinnerbaits on it, but I can whip them pretty far. I've caught a lot of bass on that spinnerbait rod in 2013 including this nice 5lber. If you look in the right spots you can probably find one for about 80 bucks. Whatever you choose good luck sir!
  2. I'ts most likely the jig and the trailer yes
  3. Check your brakes on and the casting control and also If the jig is really bulky as well as the trailer it tends to have a lot of resistance in the air as opposed to a thinner skirt/less bulky trailer ..also clean your rod guides a bit some with a toothbrush if they look a little crusty I bought this rod over the winter at wal-mart for 50 bucks on sale and im sure ill beable to cast these things a mile.
  4. Nice jigs, ill be ordering a few soon hopefully as well
  5. Last year it was online and I bought a good ammount of stuff..havoc packs were on sale for 1.95 a piece etc. I'm staying up tonight just so I can refresh the page as soon as the sale starts
  6. Dt 10-16 Sort of cant go wrong. Also Randy Howell was throwing a DT6 in Demon color which accounted for a lot of his Day1 and Day2 bass at the classic. He won..
  7. I'm not sure what type of braking system the reel has but id check the brakes and the nob where your handle is... Look on the videos section of the site on how to tune a baitcaster..I dont really thinkk theres any way you couldve damaged the reel
  8. I'd be throwing a spinnerbait for sure, experiment with diffrent retrieves abd blade combinations watch the KVD spinnerbait DVD then head out on the water I garuntee you catch a bass
  9. I heard the new curados they announced at the classic expos are expected to be really good. Tackletour has sort of a "preview" review on them but they havent tested it on the water yet. They look great though
  10. I use the bass pro shops version and have has alot of success with it, I also use the red eyes, and xr50s by xcalibur
  11. this is why you dont buy a rod with microguides
  12. I heard megastrike can also be used as toothpaste, hair gel, shaving cream, and body lotion.... No wonder you won the classic!
  13. Can you link to the source of this information please?
  14. How much is the PQ going for in the flyer? 80?
  15. How do you know its coming and how do you know the already sale price of the reel? I see nothing on the website..

  17. See your still missing the Rage tail shads, im going to continue to remind you to buy some until i see pictures
  18. You need a box labled "RAGE'' with shads and frogs in it, just saying, also in the box should be a 1/2 ounce bottle of mend it and 4/0 ewg hooks
  19. Thats a nice cat you have there sir
  20. Iv'e used smoke before. Its fine. Green is probably more invisible though.
  21. Spending way too much money on fishing tackle
  22. Do any own one of these? And is the wider spool actually efficient with line twist? Looking for a new reeel for dropshotting/shakey worming/ finesee fishing etc. It has a pretty lot of good reviews just the like PQ baitcaster, I own 2 of these and love them too.
  23. I've read mixed reviews about the Vendetta rod, people seem to love it or hate it. Thing is the 6"3 model is perfect for topwater/jerkbaiting, so it might be worth sacraficing 20$ worth of qaulity if thats what your looking for. *** did a review on it, check it out if you get a chance
