What A Difference A Color And Type Of Plastics Make
I've come to learn that the action is the most important part of any soft plastic bait. Bass and fish in general eat a wide variety of different creatures that fufill their diet on any given day/week and they react upon oppertunity to feed. That being said my priorities when fishing a soft plastic bait would be: 1.Action 2.Size 3.Color I don't care how good your matching the hatch color wise. You could spend $1,000 dollars on a custom paint job to any of your favorite lures by the best air brush painter in the world. or have your baits customly poured to your preffered color. If the action and size of your bait do not match the current mood of the fish, your not gonna get bit. Throw a color you have confidence in and focus more on the fish and how their environment is impacting them, rather than pondering if they don't like certain colors of the rainbow.

Optimum Furbit Frog
Seems lately the Live Target frogs and the Bronzeye have the attention of the masses. I almost forgot about the Optimum Furbit Frog, and I still haven't bought one since it came out. Does anyone throw them and how do they compare to the other frogs you've tried?

Huge Bass Pic
Hes holding the fish by the mouth, the top of the top of the mouth definitely looks like a bass and the dorsal fin and tails look legit to me also. What other kind of fish would it be?

Hollow Body Frog "niche" Guys- A ? Or Two
I havent been able to frog hollow body style with any success around non-lilly padded areas liuke rojas does. I also need to work on my walk the frog skills. Watching rojas walk the frog gets me really pumped about fishing them though. Hes pretty incredible. That being said...Iv'e lost a lot of fish on frogs my hookup ratio thus far is probably about 30%.

- *new* Deep Scatter Rap Crank
I've read mixed reviews about the original crank but never tried one yet, still gotta grab one. As far as the deep model, ill stick to the DT's and crankin raps, thyve worked well for me.- How Is My Tackle Box Looking...
You need some siebert jigs and rage baits!- Changing Tiny Split Rings
Pretty small, i mean i wouldnt say the smallest..maybe a step up...its some really small popper about an inch and a half long with really small trebles and rings..and even when i usually get the small rings on or back off they are mangled up some from me trying to get them on for so long- Changing Tiny Split Rings
This is impossible for me to do....my split ring pliers are either too big or im just really bad at it. Either way somthing needs to change...are there any split ring pliers out there aimed at changing the smaller split rings?- Iaconelli Is Live Streaming His New Show
This. Ik'es info is always outstanding. And its great how serious he takes everyone's questions. I agree that the part with Gulezsek saved the show, pete is also an awesome guy to learn from.- Rain?
I couldn't imagine fishing if it didnt rain. Some days I pray for rain.- Iaconelli Is Live Streaming His New Show

http://mikeiaconelli.com/ike_live.php seems awesome! everyone tune in!- Drop Shot In A Creek?
Like the others said, just experiment with the leader length etc. One of my favorite all time creek fishing baits is a 4 inch berkley power worm in red shad. Iv'e caught everyhting out of small creeks on this bait, bass, sunfish, perch, pickerel etc. Rig it on 6lb test with a 1/16 ounce bullet weight. Its pretty dynamite.- How Is My Tackle Box Looking...
Welcome to the Forums, those boxes looks pretty d**n good, my favorites are the topwater box and the lipless box.- Suffix 832, Superslick 8 , Samurai Or Sunline?
Little story. I just picked up some samurai in the yellow color at a fisherman's flea market near me today for 10 bucks. I'm gonna paint the line brown/green with those color sharpie markers to make it more stealthy. But I can definitely say, this line feels absolutely amazing. Almost like silk. It's 70lb test (14lb) dia and i cant wait to see how it casts. With that said, I can see how some people say the original power pro is "tougher" and can probably cut through weeds better. So now I see why people favor different braids. Does anyone know if samurai sinks or floats?- Suffix 832, Superslick 8 , Samurai Or Sunline?
This is why im so d**n confused. I don't understand how one person can say power pro then another person can say sunline, another samurai? This would mean that all are almost exactly equal, because if one braid outperformed all of them no one would buy the other brand right? @okechobeeangler - you say power pro but have you tried the other braids mentioned here?- Suffix 832, Superslick 8 , Samurai Or Sunline?
Topic says it al. What matters most to me is durability and smooth casting. I know all of these lines are really great in itself. But im taking my frogging/toading/rage shad game to another level this year. I prefer not using braid whenever I don't need to, but sometimes Ill need it. What do you guys think?- Hook Sharpeners
