  1. Had a guy throw bricks and gravel into the water to dissuade me from fishing around his dock.
  2. No, no, no. This was a state tourney and I actually sprung for a three day license. So there.
  3. Only two.....Washington and only if you count the Oregon side of the Columbia as a second state.
  4. I've been looking for this fish for 60 years. http://q13fox.com/2016/08/12/thats-a-monster-bass-catch-in-snohomish-county-shatters-39-year-old-state-record/

  10. If you ever have the opportunity, watch a video called "Bigmouth" Filmed in 1974 by underwater photographer Glenn Lau in conjunction with Homer Circle and narrated by Rod (Twilight Zone) Serling. This video was and still remains the definitive documentary of the life of the largemouth bass. It will answer most of your questions.
  11. And fry eating. Hence my preference for baby bass cranks after the spawn.
  12. When I made the transition from spinning to casting, I found that going with left handed reels was much more natural for me. 20 years later, I'm still buying left handed baitcasters. I do use righthand reels on my flipping sticks only because the handle interferes with my line. You don't really use the reel much when your flipping anyway. Good Luck
  13. I believe we were all effected. I echo your offer of thoughts and prayers.
  14. Welcome neighbor and thank you for your service. I haven't fished it in years, but Bass Lake near Enumclaw use to be good to me. Pretty much totally undeveloped with a primitive WDFW launch.
  15. A senko falls slowly (that's whats so enticing) If your fishing less than 10-12 feet deep, I'd go weightless. A weedless wacky rig is also a great option.
  16. Rig a 5 or 7" Senko as buzzed bait has shown. No weight needed and very castable. MH stands for medium heavy rod action.
  17. Congrats and welcome! I too would love to hear more about your catch. I grew up in Middletown in the 50's. Caught my first bass at Green End Pond.
  18. "I never fished just went sightseeing" That's like taking Kate Upton to the movies.....and watching the movie.
  19. That sir, is a smallmouth bass.
  20. I know you're not going to tell us about all the bass you caught.
  21. That was before smallmouth were introduced. Largemouth fishery in Banks is mediocre at best now.
