Too Hot to Fish?
I would rather be cold than hot. I can put on as many clothes as I want to stay warm but can only take off so many clothes to stay cool.

Pro's and fishing nets
I like the rule about no nets because I thing it gives the fish more of a fighting chance.

Skipping
If you peg the weight so it won't slide up the line an 1/8oz weight should work.

how to fish horney toads?
The 5/0 hook should work fine. I fish them mostly like a buzzbait just casting them and reeling them back in across the top of the water. But under the water they look great too if yo fish them like a worm the little feet kick out and look great

Dad's new PB (pics)
Well me and my dad headed out to Lake Graham for a couple of hours this afternoon just to try and catch a few. We fished for about an hour and a half without a bite then we pulled up to a point and started fishing the abundant standing trees and stumps. After about 5 minutes CRACK my dad sets the hook and his rod doubles over he starts fighting it and I grab the net, then it jumped clear out of the water and I caught it in the net. It was 21 inches long and had a girth of 15 inches. According to the weight calculator on this website it was about 5 1/2- 6lbs. I'll post pics once I get them into my photobucket account. Oh yeah, he caught it on a 1/4 oz spot remover with a 7inch red shad Berkely Shaky Worm.

Man, it's HOT
It is really hot and humid here too. I hate the hot I would much rather fish with a wind chill of 10 like I did at Beech Lake in my Jr Club tournament in April than a 95 degree tournament I had at Reelfoot on Saturday. I can put on as many clothes as I want to stay warm but I can only strip down to so much to stay cool.

kb's last 3 keepers on lake freeman
I think the first one is a largemouth, the 2nd one is a smallmouth, and 3rd is a drum.

How much do you think this bass weighed?

fluke setup
I have been using my shaky head rig which is a 7 ft medium action rod with an Abu Garcia Cardinal 5:1:1 reel and 10lb test Berkely Big Game. Should I keep fishing them on this rig?
