Thanks guys! Yeah it has been cold out here but we are back into a warm snap. That is what brought the high winds and fires. It is currently 88 deg. right now. Talk to most people down here though and they will tell you that the fish are already done with the fall feeding freenzy and now in their winter mood. Of course the topwater I was using isn't a Pop-r or a Sammy. It was an 8 inch walking bait the likes of which most bass haven't seen.

Nice! Wish I had some water like that next campus when I was going to school... well maybe not, I had a hard enough time studying as it was. I would never graduated.

Well when that topwater is a 2x4 it works! I haven't posted a report on here in a while but being that these fish where caught on a bait made by one of our members I would show what this bait can do. Went out Saturday morning with my partner and when we got there we were the only boat on the lake. Partially due to the 25-35 mph winds and partially due to the fire that had the main freeway to this lake blocked off. We had to take an hour detour to get there but it was well worth the effort. The first one weighed in at 8-9. Put her in the well so we could snap a photo later. Well about twenty mins later I stuck the 6-6 girl. Put here in the well to see what kind of an end of the day pic I could get. We beached the boat out of the wind to have lunch and figured I wasn't going to catch any other big ones so I might as well take some photos and let them go. Well a half hour later I hooked into the 7-13. Nothing huge but good fish non the less. We ended up with 27lbs that day.

One hell of a way to spend you Sunday. Congrats!

Honestly I have been leaning out my Jerkbaits instead of adding new ones. Between the Vision 110, Husky Jerk, X-rap, and pointer I can do everything I need to. I'm sure it is a great jerkbait but I just wasn't so impressed that I wanted to get it. If I remember correctly it was in the Low teens but don't remember the exact price. You are right about the price on the BBZ's. They are the same on their Vision 110's. $29.99 compared to $24.99 at most other places.

I wish the saltwater fish where like that out here. I use it whenever I am inshore fishing. My wife and I were fishing in a harbor one day when we saw a ray swiming by. She tossed a spoon out in front of it that was was covered in Megastrike and let it sink to the bottom. The ray went about two feet past it, turned around and located the piece of metal and ate it. I had confidence in that stuff before but after seeing that, I never leave home with out it.

My local Bass Pro had the Mc Sticks in Yesterday. I passed.

Looks great T-Rig. I'll be curious to know how it ends up loading with the 2-4 oz baits.

Now I always reserved that distinction for Reaction Strike Baits. I feel like I am taking a SAT.

When I was in elementry school the teacher was going over words that could be spelt the same backwords as they were spelt forward. She was asking for examples are writing them on the board. Well I raised my hand and said it, after a huge repsonse from the class my I tried to explain to my teacher that it is a bird and she wasn't buying it. Nice post though Muddy.

Yeah I know, I don't even want to get into it with that kind of stuff, it just gets ugly. That is one of my favorite things about this site, so why mess it up with these adds?
