What brand frog and color do you use and why?
I'm a little overwhelmed by all of the types and colors of artificial frogs there are! I was in my local BassPro and Dicks the other day with the intention of buying a couple of frogs but my brain melted with all of the choices in brand and color. So my question to you guys and girls: what is your favorite brand and color of frog, and then part 2 of the question, why? What makes one better than another? Gregg

To snap or not to snap
OK, so I have a question: Seeing that I fish from shore and do not want to be loaded down with multiple rods can I use a snap for all lures to make changes easy and fast? I think I know the answer to this but would like some input. I currently carry 2 rods with me at all times and really do not want to have to start carry more. Thanks for any comments.

Baitcaster for plastic worms????
Check out the KastKing line. Almost all can be had for less than your budget and all (I think) have a duel braking system. I love the KastKing ASSASIN and really love the duel brakes. I had trouble with soft plastics also, best thing I did was check out Glen's video on how to setup a baitcaster and then go practice. I'm a lot more confident now than I was but still need to practice. Good luck to you.

Leesa Mattress
So far so good. I'm 6'5 245 and I'm afraid that the mattress will start to degrade before the estimated 6 year life span. Only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the edges give a lot when sitting on them. Sometimes hard to get up.

Big Shout Out
I want to give a GREAT BIG SHOUT OUT to FISHNKAMP? I got to spend the better part of the day today with him and he could not have been nicer. I learned more from him in 3 hours than in 3 years reading articles and watching videos! He is a wealth of information, I now have a better understanding of what line to use and why, what bait to use and when and what color. Now when I go out I will have a clear idea of what I am doing and why I'm doing it!! THANKYOU AGAIN FISHNKAMP! LOOK OUT FISH, YOU DONT STAND A CHANCE!!??

FFO
Just got my order from Fishermans Factory Outlet! Being on an extremely tight budget I need to get the most bang for my buck and I think I just got that with my latest purchase. FFO was having a 25% off rod sale so I picked up a Fenwick HMG med heavy 6' casting rod for 40 bucks, a Veritas 6'6 2 piece MH fast spinning rod for 45 bucks and a Pflueger President spinning combo for 50 bucks. I'm pretty sure I'm set for rods and reels now for some time. Now if only I could find some bait monkey repellent??

Leesa Mattress
So after 5 years of complaining of backaches due to 15 year old mattress and no remedy my wife starts complaining about her back hurting in the morning. We have a mattress that you cannot flip but I did it anyway and both our backs felt better. So....., because wife gets a backache for a few weeks we are getting a new Leesa Mattress. I've been complaining for years to get a new one!! I guess the saying is true.... happy wife happy life?

Making progress
Well I bought a KastKing Assassin bait caster months ago but have been afraid to use it. I've been reading, watching YouTube videos, and asking questions(reading these forums) and practicing some. Finally sucked it up and went out today to a lake I like but never really had any luck at. Tied on a squirrel tail shaky head and went for it, got skunked again, not even a nibble, BUT..... In 2 hours of fishing NOT ONE BACKLASH!! I set the both brake setting to start on 3 and as the day progressed back outer brakes to 2. Casting distance was nothing to write home about but I'm not concerned with that yet. More concerned with cast consistency and accuracy, distance will come. Now if I can only figure out what to throw and when I will be in good shape.

Jig trailer
Forgive me if this has already been asked but I'm looking to purchase some jig trailers and not sure what to get. I would like to stay under 4 dollars. Any recommendations? I'm very new to jig fishing and just purchased some Boo Jigs in a brownish color and a green pumpkin color. Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S Glenn your jig video is out standing!!

Jig Fishing Questions
Great info!! I also am new to jig fishing. I only have a med fast action rod, can I get away with using that? Please don't tell to buy a new rod, no money in the budget!
