Just received my BG 3000 today. MAN IS THIS THING SWEET! I cannot believe how much smoother with 7 bearings this is compared to my old President with 10! I will say it's a bit heavier than the President but boy is this thing solid!!

Got mine for 80.

I ordered the BG 3000. Looking forward to using it.

Is the 3000 about the same size as say, a Pflueger President? That's what I have now and like the size. Just purchased the BG 3000 on EBay for 86.00?

Berkeley Lightning Shock Rod. I also am getting ready to buy the Daiwa BG. Can't decide on 2500 or 3000.

Hey there, I've got two Baitcasters with med heavy rods. Do I need a med action or can I make do with what I have. I fish soft plastics more than anything else. i have a spinning setup that's a med action.

Hey guys need your expertise and opinions. I just sold off some gear I never use and am going to buy another reel. Thinking of the Tatula CT or the Tatula R. Can someone tell me what the 50 dollar difference is? Is it worth it to spend the extra money or should I save it and buy more baits and line???

So the monkey apparently is not satisfied with my buying just one Fuego CT. He says I need another one, I've got some money to spend so wondering what gear to order next. 7:3:1 or 8:3:1? I've ordered the 6:3:1.

Well I couldn't take the monkey screaming in my ear any longer. I went ahead and ordered it 58. and change. Good news is we belong to a really good Credit Union and if I get any kick back on this I'll just use this as my Fathers Day gift. OH and one other thing GO CAPS!!
