HELP ME!! Someone please talk me off the ledge. I asked for a Fuego CT 7:3:1 for Fathers Day and now think I need a 5:3:1 also. So my plan is to put it on a credit card and pay back a little at a time whereas the 7:3:1 will be a gift that I don't have to pay back. MY WIFE IS GOING TO KILL ME!! Man I really hate the "Equipment Monkey" (1st cousin of the bait monkey) and just as sinister!!?

I'm looking to upgrade one of my baitcasters and looking at the Daiwa Fuego CT. My aptitude is still fairly low with baitcasters so I want to make sure whatever I get it has a foregiving breaking system. Can anyone tell me their experience with this reel. Really liking the price on EBay.

Stuck in the house due to rain and got to thinking while I was cleaning a couple of reels. Would it make sense to have different lb test line on my 3 spinning reels? Right now two are spooled with braid and one not spooled at all. I was thinking of going 6,8,10 pound test. Does this make sense? Wondering because I've got 15 lb braid on them and not sure this would be correct for finesse presentations. I am also thinking of going away from braid, where I fish I don't think it's really necessary. Thoughts?? Also, should one of these have mono?

I have 3 baitcasters and am going to be respooling all 3. Do I use YZH on all or do I spool one with BigGame?

I've had the same experience with KastKing Fluorokote. 3rd cast out and watched my crankbait sail off in the sunset. Won't be using that again!

What are your opinions on the PLine Fluoroclear. I've never used it and have a coworker asking about it?

Just got my Cpap, Airsense 10 auto. The mask they gave me SUCKS. (Nasal) I need a full face as I have horrible allergies and breath through my mouth. I ordered a new mask by Phillips where the tubing comes out the top instead the bottom. Really hoping and praying that this makes a huge difference!

A-Jay, Thanks for the posts. I sat down a little while ago poured myself a cup of coffee (decaf)and went over my day all the while thinking about the post you quoted me on. So now I'm asking myself why questions: why were my previous outings with that same baitcaster and braid backlash free? Why was I having such a hard time today? Did I set the brakes correctly? Then I figured it out, the reason why the previous outings were backlash free and this one wasn't..........I GOT COCKY AND FORGOT ABOUT MY FUNDAMENTALS! In the more successful outings I paid ALOT more attention to accuracy and less on distance and just as important if not more so........wait for it........THUMB CONTROL!!! I was much better at my thumb control. DUH!!!! I am now rededicating myself to mastering the fundamentals. Thank-you brother.?

Kastking Assasin. First time I've had this problem with it.

HELP! Another very frustrating day. I keep getting backlashes where the braid is digging into itself pretty bad. It's happened with 15lb and 65lb. I set the tension spool, magnetic, and centrifugal correctly and still get it every 3rd or 4th cast. I've tried Casting and then pulling out extra line and still getting it. I'm using Kastking SuperBraid. What gives?????

Has anyone had any luck fishing the small lake by the Stanford Grill off Stanford Blvd in Columbia? Ive been here 4 times and never even got a nibble. I know there's fish in here, I've seen them jump.

I asked this question years ago and want to get an update. Is there an appreciable loss in feel by using a 2 piece rod instead of a 1 piece? I bank fish and like to keep a rod or 2 in my car for convenience sake and it's easier to do it with a 2 piece, it's also easier to stow out of site.

Does anyone have any experience with the BassPro Tourney Special Casting Rod? BassPro has them on sale for 30.00 and was wondering if they are any good?
