Sleep Apnea
Anyone else here suffering from sleep apnea? I'll be ordering a new Cpap machine as soon as insurance tells me how much I can spend. Any recommendations along with what mask?

Backlash
Tell me about it! I've bought 2 baitcasters in the last 2 months along with 4 spools of braid. (Grateful KastKings stuff is affordable!) OR MAYBE NOT!

Backlash
No offence taken on your post. Little sarcasm never hurt anyone I didn't think I over spooled my line but I guess anything is possible. I'm trying to get away from spinning gear for most applications as I want to become a lot more proficient with a baitcaster.

Alright Lionheart and New2BC. I forgot everything is taken literally here, what I should have said was that the line on the spinning would tangle off the spool! There are you happy now

Backlash
Went out today for first time this year and had some issues with backlash. I set up my baitcaster correctly, tension knob, magnetics, and centerfugal brakes, but would on occasion get a birdsnest before lure ever hit the water. No wind to speak of and I did not hit anything. I switch to my spinning outfit and had the same thing happen. Using braid on both. Then switched to another baitcaster and had no issues. What gives???? Was it because of the braid?

Baitcaster, Crankbait 1st
I want to give a shout out to all you guys here on BR. I went out today for first time this year and caught my first bass of the year, (2lb) Reason for shoutout is this was my first ever bass caught using a baitcaster (KASTKING WHITEMAX)and first time ever using a squarebill crank (BASSPRO XPS CRAW COLOR). It was about 47 degrees out and I was going to throw something totally different but remembered what I had read on one of the forums so switched it up. It was the only bass I caught in 3 hours but well worth it

Using magic marker on line
Looking for advice, I started using braid last year and really like it both on my Spinning and baitcasting reels. I've read where a lot of you guys use a mono or Floro leader and some tie direct. There are days where my hands shake so bad it really becomes a chore to tie on a leader so I don't. I read somewhere that you can just use a magic marker to color the first foot or so of your line to help hide it. Here is where I need some help, I'm going to try this but was wondering if fish are able to smell the marker?

1st thing you throw
Another question for you guys. Thank you by the way for putting up with all my questions,I'm learning a little great deal. So, you are bank fishing, you arrive at your lake/pond, what is the first thing you throw? Now I know that there are a lot of variables like time of day, weather conditions, seeing any noticeable structure, etc. So in general what is your preferred 1st application?

What am I missing?
Need help. The bait monkey is whispering in my ear that I need more stuff. I'm trying to ignore it as best I can but I'm weak! Ive got plenty of soft plastics, worms, craws, Senko, swimbait, frogs and such. 1 topwater popper, 2 spinnerbaits, squarebill, lipless, is there anything as a bank fisherman I should have in my arsenal that I have not mentioned? Its like going to the grocery store with no list, you wind up buying a bunch of crap! Thanks

Clothing colors
I recently read where when bank fishing you should never wear bright colors as this can scare away the fish. If this is in fact the case what about from the boat? I have seen where guys wear yellow, orange, white, and red tournament jerseys. Should not the same theory hold true if in fact that theory is true?

What other line?
