  1. http://link.brightcove.com/services/link/bcpid1370868150/bctid3130509001 Funny stuff. Do any of you have stories of your own?
  2. I love the stuff, although never had it with liquor. I really like the egg nog ice cream. I just had me an egg nog shake with my Braum's burger earlier tonight.
  3. Funny thing. There have been alot of cars running into yards and homes recently here around the DFW area (almost one every night it seems). Is that Jimzee I see riding in the passenger seat?
  4. How about the guy with the biggest numbers? Graham Harrell at least deserved to go to New York!
  5. Hey guys, I had a rough evening last night. This doohicky they've got my shoulder in somehow got maladjusted overnight the first night, and through all my trying, wouldn't go back right. Well, in all my frustration I moved the shoulder a bit too much trying to readjust it. The pain was excrutiating. Well, after barking at my wife several times, we finally got it adjusted better, and overnight was much better. Continue to lift me up fellows, for I'm also having trouble with my Dr.'s office returning my call regarding a follow-up visit on Friday, and my patience is wearing thin. I'll try and stay in touch. -Fisher 8-) Keepin the faith!!
  6. Thanks everyone for your prayers and concerns. They were a little late getting me in for surgery, but I was home by 3pm yesterday. I was able to sleep in my own bed last night and rested well, except for several trips to the bathroom. I'm in a little more pain today, but my wife is doing an excellent job taking care of me. (as she types this letter for me) I am unable to take this sling/immobilizer off until Friday, so it looks like I will be wearing a BIG untucked shirt and warm-ups to school on Thursday. (I'm sure my kids will think that's funny) Again, words cannot express my gratitude to all of you. I will be in touch. God bless, Stacy
  7. So true. . . we drove by a station on our way to Ark. last Wednesday at $1.49 a gallon. On our drive back through on Saturday, the same station was ten cents higher.
  8. ;D I forgot about that. You know Chrysler is really relieved about that.
  9. No problem about the honesty. That's what I was asking for. From your replies, the therapy sounds really key. I've never had a problem with pain pills, but I'll be sure and go easy on them. I've got a pretty high pain tolerance, so hopefully I won't need too much. I have alot of faith in my God and my doctor, but I also believe that it's good practice to pray for one another. Thanks for the well wishes and prayers. The real test will come in the following week when I have to direct our choir in a Christmas program next Sunday night (I let that slip my mind when scheduling the surgery). The shoulder being operated on is the arm I use to direct them with. God bless, Fisher
  10. I socially interact with most people the old-fashioned way. You know, by TALKING to them in person. There's a new concept! : Bassresource is the only cyber-communicating that I do.
  11. Hey guys, I was wondering if you all could lift a brother up this coming Monday morning as I undergo rotator cuff surgery in my right shoulder. I'm looking forward to some relief of the pain, but I hear the recovery is VERY painful. Also, is there any good advice from those of you who have underwent the procedure before? I AM left-handed, but I use my right just about as much as my left hand. I'll try to stay in touch the next few days after, but I'll only have one hand to type with. I guess I'm a little anxious about it all, for I'm not one who likes to ask others for help. I guess the biggest prayer concern would be for my wife, who will have to put up with me the next few weeks. Thanks guys, Stacy
  12. BCS DECLARES GERMANY WINNER OF WORLD WAR II US Ranked 4th After determining the Big-12 championship game participants the BCS computers were put to work on other major contests and today the BCS declared Germany to be the winner of World War II. "Germany put together an incredible number of victories beginning with the annexation of Austria and the Sudetenland and continuing on into conference play with defeats of Poland, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands. Their only losses came against the US and Russia; however considering their entire body of work--including an incredibly tough Strength of Schedule--our computers deemed them worthy of the #1 ranking." Questioned about the #4 ranking of the United States the BCS commissioner stated "The US only had two major victories--Japan and Germany. The computer models, unlike humans, aren't influenced by head-to-head contests--they consider each contest to be only a single, equally-weighted event." German Chancellor Adolph Hiter said "Yes, we lost to the US; but we defeated #2 ranked France in only 6 weeks." Herr Hitler has been criticized for seeking dramatic victories to earn 'style points' to enhance Germany's rankings. Hitler protested "Our contest with Poland was in doubt until the final day and the conditions in Norway were incredibly challenging and demanded the application of additional forces." The French ranking has also come under scrutiny. The BCS commented " France had a single loss against Germany and following a preseason #1 ranking they only fell to #2." Japan was ranked #3 with victories including Manchuria, Borneo and the Philippines.
  13. Just what I was fixin' to say. MySpace seems to cater to the younger crowd. Facebook is where it's at. "The younger crowd". . . that's the pot calling the kettle black. ;D
  14. My wife and I ventured out later in the morning in my in-laws' little suburb town. We went inside Kohl's, picked up a couple of items and then saw that the check-out line went all the way around the store. Needless to say, we put down our items and left. Other than that we picked up some video games for our daughter at Best Buy and went home after an unsuccessful run through Target. We decided to just enjoy the rest of our day! 8-)
  15. Ian, Two things come to mind. First of all, are you using a fishing log/journal? Perhaps writing down information about recent trips will help you remember things you've learned/tried. Keep the log in the boat (in a water tight bag, of course) so that you can reference it when you need too. The other thing is this. Are other anglers successful on the body of water that you are fishing or are you beating yourself up when there aren't many fish to be caught where you are? Just understand that it takes time to become a great fisherman. It has taken most of us years of experience to learn what we know. It also sounds as though you might be "over-executing" a bit. Depending on the body of water you are fishing, you CAN have success with simple basic patterns offered at the right times of the year (i.e. spinnerbaits in the pre-spawn and fall, t-rigged plastic lizards/tubes fished on the beds, mid-depth crankbaits to staging fish, jigs and carolina rigs in the depths in winter and summer).
  16. Dang! How many deer can you shoot where you live? (legally) :-? How many deer? Those were just the shots he was taking. The deer got confused and ran toward him, changed his mind and was taken down with a shot in the butt as he ran away again. ;D Burley, you should go to the range more and you MIGHT be able to properly take a deer. : He's right, though. How many are legally allowed there, Burley?
  17. My Vols didn't even make the toilet bowl......it could be worse Tiger fans.....we couldn't even beat Wyoming. I feel you Riskkid. My Aggies didn't even make it to the septic tank bowl. We were even beat by Baylor, but at least we held Texas under 50, though. : Maybe roundball season will treat us better! Gig'em in the NCAA's!! 8-)
  18. AHA!! Somebody needs to hold that little lady accountable 8-) Unfortunately there's a bad apple in every bunch. . . including students. :
  19. Same where we just moved from. The city keeps the fields locked until a "youth league" wants to play or practice, even though the tax-payers funded the entire park, ballfields and all. I don't think lawsuits are the problem, they just don't want the grass to be messed up. Go figure!! :
  20. It sure sounds like things are on the upswing for the Edman! I can't wait to see him at the top. Go Ed, go!! Thanks for the link Dan!!
  21. OK, so I got to thinking about this Pampers/Depends thing today. I've been thinking that I'm on Team Depends, but now I'm not sure. Where's the break-point, 35 or 40? If I were on the bubble I'd pick Depends.
  22. Thanks, Bassdockter, that link is blocked here at the school. I'll have to take a look at home. I was going by the original post that said "filmed on December 11".
  23. Top four teams in the AFC: (in no particular order) Jets, Titans, Steelers, and Patriots. If Indy can get a consistant game, they'd be there, too. No matter who, it's going to continue to be exciting.
  24. Congrats, Ed!!! Any idea of when it will air?
