  1. Oh, yeah. I like'em cold, too. Do-see-do's and peanut butters are my other favorites.
  2. I can't believe that anyone would still buy them. I used to have fun taking ours apart and putting it back together. As a kid, my dad showed me how to make calls without dialing a phone as well as how to tap the phone. . . a skill I used to put into practice to blackmail my older brother. I wired it into the auxillary input to my stereo and would record his calls. I was a sneaky little devil.
  3. If you really want bankrupt the bank just withdraw all your deposit. ;D Mine is withdrawn monthly. Believe me, they're not earning anything off of me! :'(
  4. Sounds like you were punked!! Still a good story.
  5. You are a Vvvvverry bad man, Jerry!! VVVerry bad!!
  6. You know, another teacher and I had the same conversation yesterday. Initially, I thought being a teacher was safe for there are always plenty of undeducated kids. However, manufacturing lay-offs are starting to hit big around here. When those people can't pay their tax bills, our school budget will be hit hard. Hopefully, 8 years in the district would help. There are alot of 5 year and less teachers in our district. :-/
  7. Actually I was eatting a can of cold spagettiOOOHHHHS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you were also teaching a workshop on how to run trolling motors. ;D I'm surprised you didn't have me cussing at everyone. Seriously, It means alot to us that you know us so well by our posts. That makes BassResource.com a special place. Thanks for the laugh, Dom!
  8. My dad always sprinkled parmesian cheese on his. It smelt like dirty feet in the living room when he ate popcorn. ;D
  9. Thanks for the link. My daughter got a Sandisk Fuze MP4 player (it had a bigger screen and features than the ipod for less $$) for Christmas. We were wondering where we could download music videos for her, etc. I'll have to check it out when I get home.
  10. This poor boy's not gonna do anything unless my Rangers can get some pitching. I'm going to start going to the minor league park this year. It's really no different than attending a Rangers' game. :'(
  11. Preach, Well, I must confess that I'll pop an already "extra butter" bag of Act II or Pop Weaver in the microwave. I'll then melt a 1/2 stick of butter in a long and deep rubbermade container, swish it all around the sides, salt the bottom of it real good, and pour the bag of popcorn in. Then I'll shake it up real good until the butter coats much of the corn and pour it into a bowl. . . pretty darn close to theatre corn. There's one theatre near us that has those butter pumps in the lobby. I'll go back several times throughout the show. :-[
  12. Likely the "official" record goes to the qb who started all year perhaps? Sounds kind of like some places I've worked before. I did all the work and someone else got credit for it. >
  13. I was going to ask about that but chose against it. Go Steelers!! On the topic, I wish the Eagles would have won. I think McNabb is a better quarterback than the media and Philly fans care to recognize. I'd like to see him win a Super Bowl. As much as I want to like Donavan McNabb, I have my doubts about him. He's known to be a Christian athlete, but does alot to discredit that (i.e. trash-talking, taunting, the phone-call incident, etc.). I guess we all struggle with humility at times. Philly had their chance a few years ago. Now it's someone else's turn. Go Cards!!!
  14. So said the ESPN ticker today at lunch. I'd have never thought of that one on my own. He's also the third oldest behind Elway and Unitas.
  15. Craig Morton (Dallas and Denver)
  16. Wow. 50-50 when I voted. I'm keeping with the Cardinals for the upset (or is it an upset anymore). I think with their newly gained run-game along with the passing game that they can outscore Pittsburgh. The Steelers secondary won't be able to pick Warner off as easy as Flacco (you could read him like a book last night) with his accuracy and quick release. Cards- 28 Steelers- 16
  17. Been there. . . done that. . . not fun.
  18. Knowing about them doesn't count. You can look them up on Wikipedia, but that doesn't equate to using them. Anybody remember the claymation kid's shows like Davey & Goliath or Gumby? What about Jot? Every Sunday morning before church, they ran on a program called, "The Children's Hour" in the DFW market. Wow. . . Jot, I forgot about Jot. Times sure were alot simpler then when we were entertained by a dot. :
  19. . . . and other parts. . . :-[
  20. It's no use. The older I am, the hairier I get.
  21. The sorry gougers jacked ours up by 7 cents the last couple of days. We're back up to $1.69 a gallon (at its cheapest, $1.79 at others). >
  22. Theres an ob/gyn that lives in my area named....well just click the link ;D http://www.vahealthprovider.org/print_report.asp?License_no=0101022431 There's one in Denton, Texas with the last name "Finger" (no kidding, some of my wife's friends go to see him). Just last night after looking at the business card of my physical therapy clinic, I noticed one of the two therapist's last names is "Sippi". And, yes, she is married, making her "Mrs. Sippi". My wife and I got a good laugh out of that.
  23. I guess I'm not a herper. :-[ I've only been with one woman all of my life. ;D
  24. They did the same thing to me only in little square patches on the sides of my calves before back surgery. They had to attach these monitoring pads on my legs. Tin, I DO understand what you are talking about. That 6" tape that they taped me up with after shoulder surgery didn't feel real good coming off either. A few days later another nurse came in and removed the staples. I remarked about how the staple removal wasn't as bad as the tape removal as she noticed some stubble on my shoulder. She said, "Well at least they shaved you before putting the tape on." I told her "No" and that the stubble was from them ripping the tape off. OUCH!!
