  1. Thanks for the quick response, Raul! I appreciate the information presented.
  2. Don't forget Boone's Strawberry Hill? Seriously, I would be more lost than you are. Drinking and me didn't agree many years back, so I quit.
  3. In light of the recent media hype and "state of emergency" declared by the U.S. , I would like to ask Dr. Raul's opinion of the situation. Is all this hype merited? Should we be more concerned about it, etc.? Would you be kind enough to respond, Raul? Thanks, Fisher P.S. For those of you who do not know, Raul is a veterinarian practicing in Mexico.
  4. Definitely makes my two or three patches of psoriasis seem petty.
  5. You mean like this? Where I quoted you for your questions and quoted me from earlier? To do that you open up another Internet Explorer and go into the same thread, hit quote on the other post you want to quote. Then you copy that and paste into your original browser window with the other quote. Thanks guys. That is exactly what I was talking about. Let's see if this works. -Fisher VIOLA!! 8-)
  6. OK, Glenn. I'm just lazy. How do you "double quote"? For example, I've seen posts where someone has posted more than one person's quote within their post. Any idea? -Fisher
  7. Any idea where next year's event will be?
  8. There used to be a fella around here (Lightingrod, I think) who was crazy about his. Catt is right. I'd be careful to check it out real good before pursuing a purchase. Word of caution: Unless you have another mode of transportation, it's hard to hot rod a vehicle and use it on a daily basis. I had a 1972 Chevy shortbed fleetside back in HS and always had problems from the modifications that I made (overheating, alternator belts coming off after installing headers, starter problems, etc.) Hindsite, I'd have bought me a cheap little truck to drive to and from school and kept the hot rod project on the side.
  9. I would hope you had something to do with it, too. Seriously, congratulations. They grow up fast. -FOM
  10. Funny we don't hear anyting about the Asian bird flu anymore? This, too, shall pass.
  11. Sorry to hear that. I always pray for my BR buddies, but I'll make special effort to lift you guys up. God bless, Fisher
  12. Ditto. There's one in every bunch!!
  13. That's pretty cool. Guy is a member of the Gaither Vocal Band, which is one of my favorites!
  14. ;D what the heck is he saying, to me thats just like rap, anyone can make that sound ;D ;D ;D ;D I heard that stuff before, don't ask me what they said. I guess it's kind of like heavy metal Christian :-?. Some of the kids at church listen to it. The kids tell me they are singing about Christ and God. I tell them I don't care if God is on bass and Christ is on drums..., TURN IT DOWN! ;D If the message in the lyrics is scriptural and it reaches them, I'm OK with it. There are some really good Christian rock artists out there. Some are a little too heavy for my tastes (metal and screamo), but it will allow kids to hear a positive message that they otherwise may never hear. 100% agree with both, I honestly did not know it was Christian heavy metal. I just didn't understand what he was saying ;D Sorry about that. :-[ I didn't listen to the youtube link. The school firewall has it blocked. I was just making a blanket statement about alternative Christian music.

  16. Classic show. One of my favorite scenes is the drained pool scene where Carl (Bill Murray) sniffs and eats the Baby Ruth. Classic!!! ;D
  17. I haven't had Domino's in quite a few years, but back in the day my wife (girlfriend then) would feast on them back in college. They had a $4.99 carry-out special that we would eat at least 3 times a week. Good stuff!!
  18. I heard this yesterday. Just as RW, I salute the job he's done over the years. I do, however, think it's the right time for him to retire. You can tell over the past couple of years that he's lost his edge and has had a tendancy to ramble at times. I could think of several others to replace him than Collinsworth. I wish Al Michaels would go with him! :
  19. You know, the more I think about this and what Sam said, I'd have some friends come over and remove the TV all together. If the guys a creep, he may have set the thing out there as some kind of bait (to watch her come out to the curb or whatever). If she moves it into the garage, he might have an excuse to come over to your house. There's also the option of doing nothing about it until you return. A move either way might prod him into lurking across the street.
  20. Morning is usually good during summer except during a full moon.
  21. I used to think this was an easy question, but. . . :-/ It would have to be one of three: Chrome rat-l-trap White spinnerbait Shad Zoom fluke All can be fished at different depths, although the weedlessness of the fluke would win out over the other two.
  22. I missed it. I wanted to watch it, but like everything else on Discovery, I'm sure I'll have plenty of opportunities to watch it again.
  23. Ditto. If that doesn't work, have her put it in the garage. You take care of it later. Don't assume anything. If the guy's ever out in his yard in the future, you might just casually ask if he knows anything about the TV. Remain courteous about it, but he'll know that you were aware of the situation.
  24. Who says you have to be a winning tournament angler to host a fishing show? :-? As far as his show, I could give or take it. I always liked Fish Fishburne's "Go Fish". I can't believe it didn't last very long, but "Beat Charlie Moore" is still on ESPN today.
  25. I listen to contemporary Christian and some gospel (mostly southern gospel). Thanks for sharing. He's blessed with a fine talent. And, yes, there's something to be said about the old hymns. We still sing them in our church. I get alot of relatives of church members who compliment us on still singing them. Alot of "mega churches" have abandoned them for modern worship songs.
