  1. Didn't realize they were that new. I got a deal on one on Ebay.
  2. Cant find much info on these. Anyone try it? Sure looks good Unless you speak Japanese LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_hxw6wHmxyY&t=588s
  3. Lurecraft if lead is OK
  4. If the fish see it they will eat it. Color USUALLY doesnt matter as much as anglers think
  5. If lead is legal just tie a cheap casting sinker on with a palomar knot. Works fine for me. We have not many rocks and more wood so the hook gets snagged, not the weight.
  6. Half of a 7" stickbait works well too
  7. In general... More salt = faster sink and less durable. (Salt does not stick to salt) More softness = less durability So basically that is a double wammy against the Senko's durability. Off brands usually have less salt so are lighter and fall slower (which in some cases can be an advantage) Off brands usually are stiffer so may not halve quite the wiggle on the fall. I sometimes prefer a stick that is not so soft that it folds in half when pulled. A stiffer stick can be quivered in place more easily
  8. Agreed ^^^^
  9. I have always used a single O-ring. I have no prob with hook up %. I do let the fish take the bait longer then most tho. I get 20+ bass on a single stick
  10. Japan makes some of the highest quality reels. Shimano is a great choice.
  11. If its a hot local thing, If I were you I would buy the do-it mold and sell them.
  12. The Baker ones work well. Great sunfish colors but the paint chips really easy. Does anyone else makes one?
  13. I use the Rage Rig alot. 4/0 twistlock and 1/16-1/4 weight. Skip great too.
  14. Hound Dog. Dont get one with chains as they tangle badly
  15. I had fun last year with the Spro Rats. Fish hit them HARD.
  16. Are we talkin shallow cranks like a 1.5 squarebill (3-4') or subsurface like the baby one munus? (1')
  17. I have been melting skirts on half a stick for a while. Not technically a NED but I kill them on it. I use a 1/16 weedless ball head. I even make them with the 7" stick
  18. I did hear it is thicker than normal braid but a flouro leader is no prob. Platypus has been making the world's strongest and best fishing lines since 1898! They are responsible for many of the world's most impressive fishing records. Ordinary braids float, which usually is not a problem, but when fishing with light lures or bait, it's difficult to get your line into the strike zone and have it stay there. Platypus Sinking Braid has been designed to fix that issue. Platypus Sinking Braid is braided using gel spun polyethylene fiber blended with the addition of denser high tenacity fibers. This results in near zero stretch for ultimate sensitivity - feeling every bite, tap or bump, as well as depth control that no other line can match. When anglers need every advantage they can get, Platypus Sinking Braid delivers! The Platypus fishing lines have always been the line to use for anglers chasing sport and game fishing records. Proving itself with OVER 600 IGFA and ANSA records,Platypus lines offer confidence that no other line in the world can do! Advantages of Platypus Sinking Braid: Engineered slow sink Not weakened by sunlight Exceptional strength to diameter ratio Phenomenal sensitivity from near zero stretch
  19. Like OK Mike said the Max is much easier to walk. I start out with some pops and pauses and then walk it in. The Knockoffs that are custom painted are very good. Guy on Facebook did this for me to my paint specifications.
  20. Reasonably priced. Anyone try it? Or what is better. ty
  21. LC Pointer 100and Megabass Vision 110. Pointer goes a lil deeper than Mega. Deep jerks I like the LC Staysee, River2Sea Fetch, and SK KVD Deep.
  22. I said it IS useful for states that dont allow lead. I said it is useful for punching with heavy weights. I just dont see any other circumstance where it would be an advantage. Even a 3/8 or 1/2 oz bullet weight is not that big. No one yet has given a good example of why to use it.
  23. Curious why you would use Tungsten unless state laws prohibit lead or for heavy punching. If you cant feel a lead weight then you need to rethink your rod and line setup.
  24. Maybe Lurepartsonline? I use The Binsky but also get blanks at Ebay and add my own hooks etc.
