  1. Use a 110 replica knockoff or cheaper bait from shore.
  2. When the fish are biting good is the time to try a new technique. You should get fish then and confidence. Spring is best for this. Say you are addicted to Senkos like I was. Good spring shallow bite goin. Then try a jig. Stay light, like 1/4 oz if shallow. Less hangups and easier to feel a bite. I did this with the NED rig last year and it worked well.
  3. Cold water you want to crawl it so slow the tail wont move much anyway.
  4. Only on wake baits like the SK Wake Shad.
  5. Same weights for a rig with willow blades like the flash mob? TY
  6. Go to the auto parts store and buy a couple feet of vacuum tubing. Cut it into 1/8" o-rings. Cheap and works great and dont rot as easy. I forgot what size you need.
  7. First off get a 68 special and not a 6". Its a 6" with a 8" tail for better slow speed action. 2-3# bass can easily eat it Color is not that important. Trout works everywhere. Shasta is a lil clear with blue back/violet stripe and works well.
  8. Drop shot with a 3/8 weight and a Keitech 3.3 swing impact fat swimbait.
  9. Yum 5 arm Flash mob willow. Would like to fish 15-25' in 45* water. Fish are on or near bottom. I usually like one weight heavier to keep it from spinning. Does four 1/8 and one 1/4 sound about right? What brand heads do you like. All the 1/8 and 1/4 I have are small light wire hooks that will bend too easy ty
  10. EWG rip the bait too easily. Try the screw lock
  11. Stacee and SK KVD deep
  12. If they didnt have loud rattles that totally drown out the electronic chirping, we might see if the EBS worked. Good quality cranks anyway if you pay normal crank prices.
  13. 4/0 mustad twist loc hook
  14. If you ever go to Michaels you can print a 50% off coupon on their site. It's good for one item only. I was lucky to find one at a yard sale for $1 It's almost finished.
  15. Good list. I would switch out the buzzbait for a Tiny Torpedo or jitterbug Change jig to a husky jerk.
  16. Color changing motor oil gold and green Bull Gill purple gold orange
  17. Thanks. What other color combos should I try?
  18. Tried a crappie, Green pumkin blue and gold, and amber blue gold and orange with a line through
  19. I skip alot of wood docks and they seem to snag everythink. I use 1/16 oz. ty
  20. This is the Bob's line thru mold that I modified for a Mustad 91768bln 4/0 hook. I've tried different weight hooks and it swims well. I started wrapping my own hooks in solder and they work well. Eyes are Spike-it/Lureworks. They are made of soft plastic so they go on with Mend it and stay on. No dipping needed. Wish I airbrushed. That would look great
  21. Really nice but not weedless so does no good for me.
  22. The suspended fish you are seeing are prob not bass. As said they work better in more clear water. DONT rip it like KVD in cold water. I actually fish it more like a jig. Crank it down and pause. Then just work it slow like a jig or worm. Very slight twitches then pause. vary your twitches and pauses. Get a deep jerk like a LC Stacee or KVD deep.
  23. Storm and Northland have small bluegill soft swims for cheap. I never did well on them. Fish are not that smart though so a standard swimjig or paddletail will produce better. Unless you are hawg hunting. Then go with the big realistic expensive ones.
