  1. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see any pictures?
  2. Thanks @MickD I knew typically you’d just heat it and pull it off, wasn’t aware that they are sometimes epoxied on though. It’s definitely the tiptop, I just wasn’t sure if I’d be better off sending it in to Fenwick or just fixing it myself.
  3. My dog would just chew on the console and barf on the carpet...
  4. All this potential, not to mention 1.6 miles one way from the closest parking area, and not one single bite???
  5. I noticed my insert felt strange reeling in and the braid was making an odd noise. Not sure how but the insert looks chipped? It’s a Fenwick HMG with a lifetime warranty, but I’d honestly rather just fix it myself rather than spend money to send it in but it looks like it’s epoxied on. I took a picture, but it’s not great, hard to get much detail.
  6. The bait monkey is working with the tree monkey now...
  7. @CroakHunter I tried a 12” worm on a jig today and got 3! I’ll at that to my confidence baits!
  8. Got out early, caught a couple on top water, got a few dropshotting a zoom lizard, and got a couple on the jig. They were biting, but it was slow between bites. Hiked back to a juicy looking spot and came up empty. That made the 1 1/2 mile hike back pretty tiring.
  9. This makes me remember something, “happiness is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth”
  10. I am a man, the world is my urinal! I fished a couple areas like that and I would wait until people were just not around and try to climb into thicker brush, but just get in there and get it done, don’t be standing around enjoying the view and look at what’s going on around you, don’t want to have any poison anything about belt high...
  11. I jj magic’d My backpack twice, and the couch. I promptly threw it away. I’ve never used the jj’s, and it’s almost entirely gone, when I used spike it a few times I noticed no difference in bites or how long they would hang on, so I don’t bother anymore.
  12. Well crap. I could have sworn Kramer was saying it to the other two guys, I haven’t seen it for years, but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw the track ?
  13. I don’t care either, and they’re more than welcome to pay my bills if they would like!
  14. I saw bass on beds two weeks ago, and saw some big girls up cruising the shallows. The bluegill are on beds big time today. This is west central.
  15. “Her mudder was a mudder” ~ Cosmo Kramer
  16. I couldn’t catch anything on the plopper today. Only thing I could catch them on was the ned rig, and that was pretty spotty!
  17. Well I managed to catch the dinkiest dinks in dinkville today I caught 4 on the ned rig, had 3 blow up on the whopper plopper but I couldn’t connect today. I was hoping the incoming weather would get them moving but they just didn’t seem to interested. I did spot a few big ones swimming around shallow, so that’s a little promising, but this place drives me crazy. They are the most finicky fish, I swear they act like if they have to chase their meal it’s just not worth it!!!
  18. Lmao! See, you’re the man for the job, you have a strong X chromosome, and I mean really, who even watches Jerry springer anymore???
  19. Listen blue, if you want a job done right, you’re going to have to do it yourself... ?
  20. Those white seats sure are purty!
  21. I’m picturing a Ford super duty, diesel, jacked up on at least 35’s, probably 1000 ft/lb of torque, just rolling coal cause the turbos cranked so high, pulling a 200 pound boat ?
  22. Damnit gundog, you figured me out!
  23. They look pretty meaty, probably make some nice fillets, then you could have an “exotic” dinner ?
  24. Crankbaits. I hate crankbaits! Crankbaits of all kinds, big bills, square bills, shallow bills, I hate them all Sam I am!
