Yep, I completely believe that. I rode a couple bulls in high school, pretty amazing to feel them work for a second, and the ornery one basically got his head under me and threw me about 10’ across the arena, I won’t go into what happened after that, let’s just say #metoo ?

Ever seen a 1200 pound bull jump 2’ off the ground? It takes an awful lot of power to get that much hamburger off the ground! My wife and kid would have loved that as well, in fact we usually have to stop when we are out in the country and see cows so they can look at them, especially when they have calves.

Stress will change the color. The more stressed they are the darker they get. This is from the same creek, same general area, except in October compared to the golden girl from March.

You should have invited her for a ride to show her that even though it’s small it’s still roomy!

We resurrected an oldie the only person I’ve fished with was a guy from church, and we only went out once. I asked if he wanted to go, he says he has to finish something up and he’ll be right there. 3 hours later he shows up as I’m getting ready to walk back to the car. That kinda drives me nuts any way, especially when I figure you’re not coming anyway. I do take my 4 year old a lot, he’s usually pretty good, just plays in the dirt and checks out the fish I catch.

Oh, I was going to say, I’m not that hairy.

It’s only 3/4” long, just under 1/2” in diameter using the ruler in the picture. I originally marked it but accidentally marked the shadow line which is what threw my measurements off so much.

Glad she’s ok. I’m personally a sinker and definitely not a swimmer so I always make the boy wear a vest if we go out on the water, I’m not going to be able to help him if I’m drowning.

I broke of my whopper plopper that was killing them today on a tiny “stump” just under the water, it was maybe 1” in diameter. Broke the leader trying to get it off of it, luckily I was able to get it back, so I went straight braid and actually pulled a chunk of stump off and bent a hook on a 110 plopper. I’m done with leaders on my casting rods!

Uh... yes! Definitely get the popper stopper, never the whopper plopper, those things are junk! The popper stopper was working for most of the morning!

Man that’s a pretty harsh change! Get some air shocks for the truck to raise it up a couple inches. Not sure how hard it is to deflate them?

I use a copoly leader, I fish some really clear pits, I think it’s more in my head than anything, but it does seem to help keep the line getting wrapped up when using a treble hook bait.

I don’t normally, I usually don’t keep anything unless I’m going fishing with the intent to bring some home, then I’m usually targeting bluegills.

Hospitals suck, I hope they get you taken care of quick and get you home!

You’ll be spoiled on his wire tied skirts, I know I am, everything else just seems cheap with their little rubber bonnet to fit over all their lures...

Around here you can’t keep the bluegill off of them long enough usually. I remember fishing in Minnesota on vacation, the perch would devour a worm in a split second!

Harvesting a few bass is better for the population than strictly catch and release.

That’s what I thought to but he said no, he was saying bacon. He tells me every time I ask that he is going to call a big fish a bacon. Crazy kid, he cracks me up ?

That’s funny because my son calls any big bass a bacon. I’m not sure how he made that connection but it cracked me up when I caught a 3 pounder and he was just around yelling daddy caught a bacon ?
