I'll have to put my vote in as a Pfleuger fan myself. Just got the 2016 President limited edition, it's so smooth it's not funny. It's my second Pfleuger reel and I think my next one will be one to!

Today I was fishing a pond that was about 2 acres, I was slowly bouncing it to the weed line, then just letting it sit for a minute, then I'd jiggle it around to make it shiver. I ended up cleaning off weeds after every retrieve though.

I bought a shimano sojourn spinning rod, 6' 6" medium fast for $30, I haven't got to pull in any big'uns with it yet, but it's a pretty decent rod for the money.

Nice bass! I've only managed to get dinks and one super aggressive bluegill. Seems like they either grab it on the fall or while I was bouncing it along the bottom.

I had a similar experience with the Ned rig, 4 dinks in about 2 hours, and the bite was awful so I was happy with them.

Does it have a flipping switch? I have an older cheap one that will free spool like that if the switch isn't pushed all the way one way or another.

I have a Pfluger president closed face that I have used for 4 or 5 years without an issue with, it's caught many fish, including my pb. I don't use it much anymore, as I'm looking to up my game and get some quality equipment that will last, but for panfish and light bait it's great.

Your crotch, your armpits, your wrists, and on your throat. Anyplace that has a lot of shallow veins and arteries will cool the blood faster, cooling your whole body from the inside out. One quick way to do it is just dunk your hands in cool water about halfway up your forearms. It will start cooling you off in just a few minutes.
