what kind of frog are you using? I was using a lunker hunter the last time out and they would hit it, but I couldn't get them hooked up, I finally got one close enough to see what was going on, they were grabbing it by the legs and pulling it under. I switched to a pad crasher and hooked up 3 in a row.

Both rods replaced. I think I'll stay home and clean tomorrow!

My day of fishing in pictures rod broke on the third cast, tie rid broke on the way through the creeks! Luckily I was able to put it back together and wrap it with a dog leash that I neglected to take out of the truck. It got me and the boy home! If any of you have been out to the Owen-Putnam Forest you know it's extremely rough terrain even on the roads!

I saw one of those a few days ago while I was fishing. I walked over him thinking it was a stick, about half way through my stride he moved. This fat boy did some fancy acrobatics! He calm and just looked at me like what's the deal dude???

I got burnt so bad when I was 11 or 12 the only way I could sleep was in a tub of cool water. I would sleep for hours in the tub. It ended with a trip to the er because it felt like someone was poking me with needles and I was losing my mind cause it just wouldn't stop. That sucked! Like a lot of the rest of you, I have a lot of Irish heritage, I don't really tan, I just turn a bronzeish red color!

The man speaks a lot of truth. While being a professional bass fisherman would seem to be a really cool job, I think being a professional bass fisherman would take all the fun out of bass fishing. Getting skunked would be a lot more than just a frustrating days fishing.

I found one at academy in Terre haute, 14' no trailer, with it and a trolling motor I can be on the water for under a grand, of course that means I don't have the ease of launching with a trailer, but the boat only weighs a little over 100 lbs, so it wouldn't be to bad to put it in and out of the truck by myself.

I've learned a ton about lure presentation from YouTube videos and videos on here.

I'm trying to talk the wife into a small Jon boat for the strip pits, that's about all I fish other than small ponds I don't need a boat for.

How is the bank fishing? It looked pretty accessible on Google.
