  1. I have caught LM, SM, Chain Pickerel, Northern Pike, Tiger Musky, Goggle-Eye, Bluegill, Channel catfish, Blue Catfish, Flathead catfish, Walleye, Shad, and a Redfish all on the same crankbait. Allen
  2. Great looking bait! Feels better catching them on something you made as well. Now send me one or two to test to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Allen I am a Quantum fan and own about 25 of them but they have never given me a shirt. Allen
  3. What are the water conditions you normally fish? Muddy, stained, clear, etc. and what is the primary forage for the bass? Allen
  4. Giving up another secret here but I slow roll whiteish single blade spinnerbaits in our local reservoirs in the spring. Either 1/2oz with a #6 Indiana or 3/4oz with a #7 silver blade for the win. Since no-one is using this configuration it just wrecks them. I will only get a few bites but all the fish are 4-6lbs which is what counts. Allen
  5. If you buy one and don't catch anything on it this year I will buy it off you for full retail plus shipping. I have one they have almost chewed through the plastic that looks like someone took a wire wheel to it. Silent RC 1.5 in Copper Perch is the #1 crankbait I own and I have at least 1k cranks. My best colors have been; Copper Perch, Golden Shiner, Bull Bream, and White Shad. Only other one is a custom painted one that looks like Zoom's Anchovy shad. If you fish waters that bluegill is the main forage I recommend BE Gill. Only problem with BE Gilll is the blue cats on the Lower Potomac like bluegills and will crush that bait. Allen
  6. I heard if you fish the FOBA you need to wear a hockey mask if your partner is throwing a chatterbait. Allen
  7. The link above is what you want and I cannot recommend Copper Perch enough. Allen

Depending on how you fish them you may want to look into a 30 degree bend hook. Allen
  9. GP 5/16oz finesse jig but it was only about 3.5 lbs. Hopefully I can get out more this year in the spring. Allen
  10. Manns baby 1- in chartreuse or bone KVD 1.5 in chartreuse black back Bandit 100 in a minnow color Allen

Very interesting as I have never seen those cones before. Those hook are the sharpest ones made but be careful as they rust easily. Allen
  12. https://www.jannsnetcraft.com/crankbait-bills-lure-lips/ Try here for crankbait lips they should have what you need. I have tried building crankbaits but I am not very good with shaping the wood. From my experience making deep diving cranks is the hardest thing to do in tacklemaking. Allen
  13. Molds I do not use I sold off except for some soft plastic ones. So far I have a bunch of 3/8oz ball head jigheads, some skirts, and some painted spinnerbait heads to include some with soft titanium wires. Tomorrow I will do some more digging to see what I can find. Allen
  14. Yes, make some for the lure swap we are starting. Allen
  15. I have like 50-60 of these and could use some of those football wobblehead jigheads. Will send hooks I just wanted to try some before I bought the mold. Allen
  16. how to do a screen shot Here you go, bottom blade is a size 5 Indiana for reference. Willing to trade for other stuff. Allen
  17. If anyone is looking for some large hammered copper Colorado blade I have some. I would guess they are size 8 or bigger? Will sell for $0.25 each and can post some pics is interested. They are way too big for anything I would use. Allen
  18. I have started to go through everything I have accumulated over the past several years and need to get rid of stuff. I will have a lot of misc stuff for luremaking to post if anyone is interested in getting started. So if you are interested in starting to make things please post here along with what you are interested in; e.g spinnerbaits, jigs, etc. Figured I would pass along stuff I have accumulated over the years for cheap to help people getting into tacklemaking. Allen
  19. Use the Super Glue GEL and you should have no problem. Just put a tiny drop in the hole then insert the weedguard. Allen Check with Seibert Outdoors as he can best help you. Weight, hook size, weedguard stiffness, etc. Seibert can set you up with whatever you need. Allen
  20. You are in the minority here. I find it a lot easier to tie without the weed guard in the way. Allen
  21. That is what I need. Allen
