  1. Hilts makes molds as well. Allen
  2. So far they haven't worked for me but they will get another shot this year. Allen
  3. Keitech 3.8" fat impact in pro staff special. Allen
  4. Like several others have mentioned keeping plastics in their original bags and putting those bags in gallon freezer bags works the best for me. This allows me to carry the most baits in the least amount of physical space and retain organization. Hardbaits I keep in 3600 size boxes so I can switch out based on fishing conditions. There are 3 3700 boxes that I use; terminal tackle, jig components, and my "Best of the Best" box. This box contains all my "Go-To" lures and in case I can only grab one box this is it. Allen
  5. This fits me perfectly! You can tell what kind of day I am having by what is on deck. If only a few things are out it is going well, but if it looks like a TW delivery truck just dumped everything it had on my deck..... I might not be the guy to beat that day. Allen
  6. The above statement is very important to remember. I use to only fish 1/4oz jigs but I was fishing open water with a 4" single tailed grub. Now my main trailer is a Keitech fat impact so I went to the 3/8oz to keep the bait from rising too much. As for colors I catch more fish on a white/shad colored bait but bigger ones on a bluegill color. Allen
  7. SK 5 series: Silent = Gizzard Shad Rattle = Chart blue back Other baits work but do not produce consistently. This bait outfishes everything I have in that depth range including LC and MB. Allen
  8. Flick Shakes are my favorite Jackall bait and one of my go-to baits. The squad minnow is good but I am such a diehard LC pointer guy it is hard to give TOW. Cover craws work ok for jig trailers but I will not be buying anymore. The ishad just doesn't work for me so after Christmas I will be posting a bunch for sale. Allen
  9. They work but do not shimmy as well as the regular senko for me. I do like the slim senko on a flick shake head as a alternative to the Jackall worm. Allen
  10. Albino and Pearl White for Zoom are good to start off with. Allen
  11. My answer as well because like someone mentioned if you are not losing them your not fishing in the right places. Allen
  12. When the water temp hits 32 degrees F. Allen
  13. Lucky Craft Ghost Minnow. Allen
  14. I didn't buy a single lure but picked up two pairs of tacklemaking pliers. Started going through my tackle for a winter cull and there is so much it is just crazy. I am going to buy some of those bobber stops for $4. Allen
  15. I don't own one of those baits for reference but check: Barlows Tackle, Jann's Netcraft, and LurePartsOnline as one of them will have a blade size chart you can print. Allen
  16. How are you losing the blades? The ones I have are cross locked. Terminators are the blade throwers. Allen
  17. Smithwick Rogue Rapala Husky Jerk and if you can find them Xcaliber XS4 or the Edwin Evers version Now I get bashed for it but I think the Vision is only an average bait and yes I have a few of them. Allen
  18. I noticed the same thing as all the ones I tried set differently in the water. Allen
  19. Shadish (Like the one in my avatar) with double nickel willows. Allen
  20. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=62055146 This is close
  21. Looks like a SK Bottom Dweller to me? The 5 on the blade is indicating the blade size. Allen
  22. Depends on your specific circumstances? Some of the people on here spend a lot more than that. To be honest even though I have tons of high-end baits most of the fish I catch are on a texas rigged plastic. This sport can be as inexpensive or expensive as you make it just go price a fully loaded Ranger boat once. Allen
  23. In cold (33-40 degree F) water nothing works better than bear hair IMO. Allen
  24. You seem to like those MLXF blanks huh? I have a SC Avid 6-9 MLXF as a DS rod and it seems too light in the tip for me. With a 1/8oz weight and 5" worm its like I am at the max lure weight rating? Looking for a new blank about 6-10 F or XF so what do you recommend? Allen
  25. There is a reason I do not post pictures or trip reports anymore. On another fishing board I use to frequent there was a guy local to me complaining about not being able to catch anything? Figured I would help out so I took him out in my boat to a spot on a spot type place and we wrecked them. At the end of the day I told him not to tell the world about this place or post it on the internet. Well the very next weekend he went back with a buddy and posted pics of all the fish they caught in his secret hole on the same forum. I was so ticked off that he did this after I specifically ask him not to. Luckily I was able to convince the Mod to delete all the pics and info that showed the location. Well he burnt that hole and was back to complaining how he couldn't catch anything so he sent me a PM asking for help. I told him to try the Atlantic Ocean as all the fish in the Potomac swam there. Allen
