Lead pouring
Do-It, Palmer and Hilts are the companies that I know of that produce standard molds. Shawn Collins makes custom hand pour molds but since he is good and one of the only ones you will wait awhile on a custom mold. Dampeoples had a spotremover mold he was going to sell at one time but besides that Iam not sure if anyone else would have one? Allen

is Lucky craft overpriced??
My LC topwaters have paid for themselves! Last year I caught lunker 3 times in small club tournaments at $50 a pop on a Gunnish or Sammy. Allen

is Lucky craft overpriced??
Pointer 78 RC 1.5 These are definately great producers! I would add the following as well. Gunnish 95 Slender Pointer 97mr Sammy 100 Think about it this way, how much do you spend on soft plastics? I can go through $15 worth of senkos in one day if not more. Now I have several LC baits that have caught over 100 fish each that are still in good shape. Buy a good lure retriever and you will not lose any unless there are pike in your waters. Allen

Jig Fishing Question
Try a natural colored finesse jig like a Eakins with a smaller trailer (super chunk Jr or small double tailed grub). My most productive combo this year is a 5/16oz pumkinseed jig with a green pumkin Zoom creepy crawler trailer. Allen

Spinning vs. Baitcasting
I only use spinning for lures too light for a baitcaster. Finesse fishing requires a spinning rod with light line. Allen
-
Let's talk Kistler rods...
This is my favorite rod and could use another if you want to trade? I have a ton of lures including LC, Daiwa, etc. I could part with. Allen

Zoom Z1 vs. Zoom Wobbler Crankbait
That really sucks! Keep a eye out at the local pawn shops or someone posting them on ebay from your area? Personally I cannot catch anything on Zoom cranks :-[ If you have not tried them yet look into the Lucky Craft RC series at BPS. The RC 1.5 has been my best crank for two years in a row. Allen

custom molds
Have you considered just buying some lead heads and sanding or filing the bottom flat? Currently I am looking for some silicone that will withstand the heat of lead to make some swim jig prototypes. Allen

essential skirt colors
Black, brown and green pumkin are about all I need. Allen

WHY?
It is a very poor producer for me? all I seem to do is lose jigheads? Drop shot or a Mojo rig are far more effective. Allen
-
dropshotting
Not in my opinion? Like someone mentioned I like those brass eyed bank sinkers in 1/8, 3/16 and 1/4. So far I have not found any reason for heavier sinkers. Drop Shot is a dink and panfish magnet but will also catch bigger fish. Allen

Fishing pliers ?
I have tried several different fishing pliers and have not like them especially the high prices. My favorite are these $4 needle nose ones I buy at the PX. They have blaze orange handles so they are very hard to lose! Now they will develop surface rust in like 5 seconds but they work really well. Allen

Fishing plastics. (Senko's and baby brush hawgs)
I like the smaller 4" for fishing clear water and if I could only use one size this would be it. If something is working for you stick with it! If I find a bait that really works I buy one size smaller and one or 2 sizes larger. Color only matters when it matters. Allen
