Jig fishing in Stained water WHAT color
X2 You guys put way too much thought into colors! I have caught bass on a hot pink jig with a green pumkin head and a chart. zoom trailer just to prove that color doesn't matter. Allen

Anybody here make your own spinnerbait skirts using silicone strands and collars??
Like these? I did those with powder paint and using a paintbrush to tap the paint on. All that hard work into these spinnerbaits and you are using crane swivels I will send you some good swivels if you can do one of those photo rattletraps for me? http://www.fishingskirts.com/ There is a video on the home page of his site showing how to make a skirt. Maryland's Who's who!
Check the MD BASS site for clubs local to you? I can tell you that you will have to re-learn a lot about bass fishing. In a pond there is only a limited amount of space for the fish to go? Now Deep Creek Lake you really have to find them. Fishing in a local club as a non-boater is a good place to start just don't get with a crowd that takes it too seriously? Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
- Plastic or wood crankbaits????
- Bait Monkey Attack!
Do you think the fish care about that detail when it goes whizzing by? Now before anyone comes down on me about detail I have close to $600 in custom spinnerbait molds. My latest spincast mold has just as much if not more detail than that head. All this detail matter a lot more to the fisherman than fish but I have a OCD about making baits. If he can sell these for $13 each more power to him but I am still wondering how much work can go into a spinnerbait? Allen- Baby Bass Chameleon and more.
I like that green color! Is that a paint anyone can buy or something special you came up with? Allen- Bait Monkey Attack!
$13 for a spinnerbait? :-? Are you going to personally jump start the economy. Allen- Maryland's Who's who!
I think it is called Blue Plains and is part of the tidal Potomac? Since you are new to the area the Potomac is broken into two parts gemerally. The Lower which is Tidal and mostly LM and the Upper which is non-tidal and mostly SM. The dividing line is great falls as far as I know? The Dam numbers start at 1 and go west up to #6 or something like that. I only fish around Dams #4 and 5 and maybe 3 so I do not know about 1 or2. Allen- What's the furthest away form the US any of you have lived? + beautiful pics!
Never lived there but have been TDY to many places in the Army. Agra, India; Korea; Egypt; Pakistan are the farthest away I have been. Allen- Any skirt makers out there? I need a little help.
Someone just started making a similar skirt? Check with ***. Allen- Plastic or wood crankbaits????
Who makes that bait? I made a mold of a RC 1.5 that I pour bodies out of Alumilite Resin with microballons and add a poly lip. It is a slow floater and when I can find time to make some more I plan on sending you one to test. Allen- $25 Oil?
Couldn't happen to a better industry! When we were all paying $4 a gallon they had "there's nothing we can do about it" attitude. I hope OPEC crumbles and the Arab oil lords all go under Allen- Plastic or wood crankbaits????
I carry way to many of each but plastic catches more fish for me. Allen- LC Sammy 85 or 100?
The 85 size doesn't walk right for me? I catch 10" SM on the 100 size so I would not go any smaller. Allen- favorite "walk tha dog" top water bait
LC Gunnish 95 While I do have and use most of the others on the list none of them come close to the number of fish I catch on the Gunnish. Allen- rattle or no rattle on jigs
X2 Allen- Monocacy River in Maryland
While I do not fish there MD "trophy bass" areas allow you to keep some bass under 11" and one over 15" but none inbetween. What I have found out over the years is these areas do not have any "trophy bass" only dinks and tons of fisherman attracted by the trophy bass signs . Allen- Donating fishing gear to those in the armed services
The recruiters are busy trying to recruit new troops so they have little free time to help? The best place do donate rods or equipment to would be the MWR (Morale Welfare and Recreation) and every base I know of has one? These are the places that soldiers can go to and borrow equipment, etc. If you need the contact info for any of these places I can look it up? FT. Leonard Wood, MO is the one I am most familiar with. Allen- When law enforcement goes too far...
How did you get a permit here in Maryland? Lord knows the state government doesn't want any non ms-13's from PG county carring handguns. Allen- Donating fishing gear to those in the armed services
No matter how much rank you have there will always be stupid crap to do! Now I just deal with a lot of paperwork and inspections not the leading of soldiers they preached about in OCS. The best rank in the Army is Specialist because you are not a Private anymore and you are not in charge of anything . If you need anything else let me know? Allen- Anyone know this swimbait?
I have yet to see any lure from China worth a dam? Man can they ever knock off anything made though! Allen- A Few Jigs....
fishingskirts.com for skirt material. Allen - Plastic or wood crankbaits????
