  1. Owner Oversize Worm Hooks - Tackle Warehouse Don't use big worms often but after missing some fish I switched to these 7/0 hooks. Allen
  2. Do-It Weighted Hook Mold Regular Eye - Barlow's Tackle (barlowstackle.com) Do-It makes a mold for that. Allen
  3. Fluid bed is very nice to have but if you are just doing 20 jigheads probably not worth it. I have 3 that I got from TJ's tackle and highly recommend his though you can make your own. Allen

Hooks will be here in 1-2 weeks. time to get ready to start pouring the crap out of them. Allen
  5. Somewhere I read something like "I would rather have the wrong lure color in the right place than the right color in the wrong place". While I stick with colors that should work and match the hatch I have fished with others that do the opposite. One of the guys I fish with throws Junebug tube no matter what the watercolor is? Allen

These go into a fluke like bait just like you would rig a weedless tube; Allen
  7. Where do you live and what part of the state do you want to fish? Allen

Storm Big Bass is the name. Allen

Got tired of not being able to buy these so I made some. Allen

I am guessing Storm by the looks of it? Allen
  11. Bandit Ledge is about the size of a Strike King 5 series bait. I have some but haven't fished them much? To me they are like the Rebel Deep WeeR bait. In the smaller size it excels! Try to physically upsize the bait and it loses its magic. Allen
  12. Bandit Ledge crankbait. Allen
  13. I have a baby 1- that is special that I use sparingly. While I have 8 more of what looks like the same bait none work like this special one. What I have found is occasionally it will kick twice to the same side during retrieval. Of the top 10 biggest crankbait bass caught in my life this one bait accounts for 6 of them including the biggest. Allen
  14. Skakesphere blue moon wrapped around a Goya can casted like a spinning reel. Weights include surf stinkers, nuts, spark plugs, rocks or whatever can be tied on. Allen
  15. Only thing I have lately is snagging Goya rigs with 75 feet of line attached. Allen
  16. I have caught doubles on top water and crankbaits just not many. The main lure for doubling up is a jerk bait in the fall. Usually you hook one and another tries stealing the bait. Craziest was the drop shot double where one was on the hook and the other holding the sinker. Actually boat flipped both of them. Allen
  17. 4" Berkley Power worm in solid black Texas rigged. Anywhere the water is muddy and over 60 degrees this is my panic bait. We have tournaments here on the local river and in the summer boat traffic muddies the water. Between the water color and boat traffic that little worm shines. Allen
  18. Summer months of June, July, and August a finesse worm works well overall. Zoom Finesse worm just because I have hundreds of them but I have not found a straight worm that doesn't work. If I was just starting out I would just buy Zoom Swamp Crawlers. These are softer and cheaper than most worms and really work. Colors are limited but the main ones most use they make. Having caught 4" bass and a 22lb tournament limit on them I really like the bait. Allen

It's a 90 degree jighead hook. I suggest you go with the EWG Ned hook. Allen
  20. FYI

You do know what we call " soft plastics " is actually PVC correct? Allen
  21. What size Reins craw is that? Allen
  22. Guess I am one of eight bass fishermen not going? Glenn what are the requirements to go? I thought you had to be a significant presence in the bass fishing community or a major manufacturer? Some of the people I see attending it's strange to me how they are let in. Allen
  23. Read this several times so it sinks in. I have been fishing the Upper Potomac river for 40 years and everything Tom said echoed my own experience. The past 3 weeks the best lures have been a popper, lightly weighted fluke, and a Zcraw on a football wobble head jig. First two are old standbys but the wobble head is suprising for 2 FOW. Allen
  24. A Keitech rep told me they use soft plastic to pour them. I mixed 50/50 medium and super soft which helped the tail move at slower speeds. Allen
  25. Guy in my old club lives or dies by this color. It works well for me in clear water most days. Allen
