  5. Hired a new assistant, not sure if she is going to work out yet? Allen
  6. I bought some of the teflon in the correct size and cut them into 1" lengths. These are what I use for my hair jigs and some prototype finesse jigs. Allen
  7. I had one a couple of years ago and never caught anything on it so I gave it away. Everything on this bait is generic and can be bought at one of the luremaking sites except the rear blade. Already figured out how to make the blade I just need some new batteries for my calipers to check the thickness. Allen
  8. Just an FYI if you see a color on their site and wander what it looks like in real life you can order a swatch. The pic is of some brown ones I ordered since the colors look the same on a computer screen. Swatches are like $0.50 each or you can buy sets. Allen
  9. Depending on where you are fishing in Maryland you'll catch all types of fish on bass lures. The only time I am surprised is trout on jerkbaits. My coangler in a club tournament caught a 16" brook trout on a xrap in June. Allen
  10. That's a hugh fish for the Upper Potomac! My biggest this year was on a finesse jig but was only like 4lbs. Allen
  11. So enough people have asked me about this bait I figured I need to figure out its secret. Blades are unique at first glance but nothing else about the bait is. Allen

  16. Now you have me trying to figure out who made those? I have a good guess but would have to see the bottom of the head. Allen
  17. Mine are 2.5 to 4" on average. Allen
  18. What weight and hook size does everyone like? I like either 1/16 or 1/8 most of the time. Normally I am fishing deep weed lines and 1/8 is what I am using. Allen

  20. For anyone that might be interested this is a small show that small time lure makers sell their baits. Others are just selling off tackle they have accumulated over the years. A lot of good deals to be found at this show. This is where I usually stock up on soft plastics. Can't go wrong buying senkos for $2 a pack. Allen
  21. Check with smalljaw67 I am sure he knows how to make them. Allen
  22. If you stop by the show I will give you some bear hair for your jigs. Allen
  23. If I am swimming it like a baitfish then a Keitech fat impact 3.8 is what I use most of the time. Craw trailer I have been using a chigger craw. Allen
  24. You may want to look into some fine cut silicone material for the second set of jigs. Allen
