Ok so this is highly debated with me and others around me. I live in Iowa and most our lakes do not have shad almost all really. forage we do have are bluegill,crappie,baby bass, frogs and of course crawfish. Now I've been reading and watching about how you want match the forage in your lake. Then some say just to use white because a bass will eat a shad if it's randomly in the lake which I do get. so the question is do you think things like a Alabama rig, white jerkbaits, white spinnerbaits etc are they really the best choice in lakes without shad?

If a ewg did get in your hand. It’s a lot harder/painful to remove correct? Anyone experienced this?

This is interesting, as a bass fisherman it seems most have went away from his style of fishing. Is it feasible to do this type of fishing if your only hitting a small brush pile or similar target and move after 10 minutes picking it up? What anchor do you recommended?

Ok so I have a 18 foot aluminum v hull bass boat My current issue is I’ll come up to my way point that is in 8/10 foot of water and the wind will blow me way off it until I power the trolling motor to much and end up gliding over it. Or the wind will just blow my boat off where if I turn the boat back the prop wash will hit the target. I’ve been fishing out of this boat for 6 years now but I can’t seem to get this down. What can I do to improve this

It seems to me the chatter bait put preforms a spinner bait in the fall almost always does anyone else experience this? If so any idea why it might?

Boat Ok so for a wacky rig and neko you don't want to drag it across the whole rock flat per say just where you think its the most productive then reel in? These are bad brush baits I'm assuming since even with a weed guard its not a great guard (too thin)

I don't have docks/Grass I do have brush piles a tiny amount of rock besides that just a lot of standing timber or bare banks and have caught some fishing on the neko but not consistently but I'm curious on how to improve this more. Location is mainly what I'm thinking is the missing ingredient. I'm open to any tips though

I started to fish tournaments this year by my self and these are 20 plus boat tournaments. I have a tracker v-18 with no keel guard and only one talon. The ramps support one boat and it seems there are always people docked there with two power poles so they don’t swing into others boats. So I’ve been having to wait until all 20 load up then struggle to get in on time for weigh in. The banks are very rocky what do you suggest?

Is it as simple as just hitting the high percentage spots right after people leave I mean if they leave and your not there in 10 minute's some one else will be there. When fishing a fluke on a bait caster do you use a swivel? this is not for the donkey rig just a single fluke
