Does a heavy rod not cause problems with the trebles? I have a 7 foot 6” skeet Reese rod heavy cover I was thinking of using but heard it would be to stiff.

I had a 4 inch seat belt looking strap with two hooks to hold down the the bow at the bow. Along with the normal winch strap but it recently broke where can I buy one to replace it? Not looking for a ratchet strap. Just a similar item where I can hook off from the bow and keep the bottom attached to the trailer.

If you do not have a Swimbait rod for Swimbaits with trebles. what would you use until you got one?

I’m sorry if I’m confused but when you said rope connect to the trailer strap do you mean which? your talking about the strap that pulls your boat onto the trailer correct? Right now I just have that plus one talon and rolled up thing of rope that only has one clip on the end. And have been backing up the boat until it floats getting out unlatching the winch then tieing it down with that rope with one clip and putting down the talon. Then driving off but the boat has always been in the way of the trailer so I have to sorta pull it away manually first. Sorry for these basic questions lol

Where/how do you tie it to your boat so it doesn’t spin from the back or the front? Ive tried tieing it right but the back always spins. I guess thinking about it now it doesn’t matter lol just curious ig

Good morning with spring coming up I was wondering how come as a fourm we don’t help the newer bass fisherman(like my self) understand maps and seasonal patterns. Wouldn’t it be a great learning tool for a lot of people? ideas I had idk if this is allowed but one person who believes they understand it well post a map of x lake. And explain how fish are coming from the deeper water to spawning flats during the beginning of spring and show a great example of what exactly a spawning flat is. Side note when I first started it was very overwhelming hearing speaking flat and saddles etc just because I had no idea what any of that meant but it seemed like everyone (most on here) knew because how long they have fished. Wouldn’t it just a nice guide for people heading to the lake to be ok so they are transitioning over to the spawning flats off this deep point...oh ok that’s exactly what a spawning flat looks like. If this is a a bad idea by no means shut it down. Just figured it would be a good learning thread.

Do you both have a keel gaurd or are you never pulling the boat back to the cement then tieing off?

Good morning! I’m debating on buying the z launch. But don’t have a keel guard I have a tin boat but I love it and want to keep it as nice as possible besides the marks it gets from fishing alone. Is the z launch worth it without one of these? Also how long of cord would you reccomend?

Can someone help me and reccomend a good tube and flipping hook to go with it. I’ve seen the strike king/powerbait ones but see nothing about flipping hooks for these baits

Did these rods get discontinued? I don’t see them anywhere besides eBay but see his cheaper ones at stores.

What are the best bands to use? If your not looking to tie them?
