  6. I have been so busy lately my grandson (3 yrs old) has been on me for 2 weeks to go Fishin. I made it a point to take off early yesterday to spend some time on the lake with him. Nice calm day for a change and cloudy which made for a comfortable outing. My wife came along and I I hooked Her up with my last 4 inch watermelon/chartruse laminate Senko, and tied on a Zoom Fluke (no HOOKS yet ) on my Grandsons SpongeBob Pole. Anyhow , She nails two 1.5 lb'ers He gets his Fluke yanked off by something :-/ and here I am hauling water . So I got up early this mornin and shot off an order to Brent at *** to try out some of those 4 in Trick Sticks so the next time I'll be ready and have plenty to go around.

  11. Welcome!! That Bait Monkey was just disquised as an AMMO Monkey
  12. Follow up! After you patch around your pipe be sure to backfill your dirt so that it slopes away from your foundation. Check your guttering and make sure your downspouts divert water out away from the house as well. I know this cuts into your fishin time, but it is great insurance against water in places we don't like.
  13. Joe, You have definately found a good source of info. Like RW said look up top for some great fishing articles and tips. When you hook-up with those Bass you'll be hooked!!!
  14. A six pack of Dolly Madison and a large black coffee from the Quik Stop
  15. Having all those links on one page is just tooo convenient. Easy prey for the bait monkey...... 90 % of those were in my favorites already!! It's like one stop shopping
  16. Nice fish!!! Is that Lake Washington in Florida? Never mind! I just noticed the trees and checked your profile!! :-[ Totally opposite end of the country!! They look like fish from Florida!
  17. I feel this is a valid question also! In using t-rigged, carolina, pegged plastics or jigs we are trying to present the bait as crawfish (what is said to be the favorite forage of the bass) so it seems to me that the drag and pause presentation would be the most productive. That is what I do most of the time Choosing the bait on the other hand is quite confusing :-/ When I look at plastics that are the most popular I feel this forum is probably the #1 place to gather that info. What I have noticed is the senko is probably the go to plastic. WHY??? I don't know either but it works. I have in my arsenal some crawfish imitations that are so lifelike that they pinch you when you take them out of the bag I have yet to catch a fish with them but I have caught many with the senko or the wooly hawg tail (thus the confusion) they don't even look like crawfish. :-/

  23. Can't wait for that opportunity! This kids going to be good we were out about six hours that day. He casted his SpongeBob with a float attached (no hooks allowed yet) all day long. I only had to untangle him about 5 times. I was in the trees more than Him. It was a terrific time for all of us. His Dad tears up whenever he sees this pic.
