  1. Ika (ee-ka) Who'd a thunk! :-[
  2. Second guessing decisions will drive us all crazy if we allow it. It is obvious that at the moment your decision was made to return it to the waters. In tourney fishing there are many choices that need to be made spontaniously. I find it best to choose and proceed with focus, rather than to choose and wonder what if?
  3. Thats showing your age! Mine is the "Snakes"
  4. Anacondas in PLUM I can't wait
  5. CLEAN- DULL- DRY The surface must be all three of these in order to achieve proper adhesion of any coating. Factory coatings are normally very hard and slick so scuffing the surface (DULL) would be most critical.
  6. It was just this mornin I was looking at www.ragetail.com and it shown an alternate riggin of the toad with the swimbait hook. The Rage tail craws are my fav plastics and I thought the next time I was out I would give it a try with the craw. It seems like a very weedless pegged weighted system. Thanks for the verification

  10. The wife drug me through the dollar store yesterday and I could not pass up the Ray Scott's Lighted Soft Bait 6" Wicked Wired Worms in Pumpkinseed "The Ray Scott Ltghted Soft Baits are water activated. The blinking LED comes on when placed in water and shuts off when taken out. You will get 30-40 hours of fishing time before the batteries wear out." $1 The deal of the day!
  11. It's been three weeks since my surgery to repair a broken wrist and this whole time I have had numbness and burning in my arm. This morning I was awakened with a few sharp pains. Pain has never felt so good I feel it is time to upgrade my siggy from TEMPORARILY OUT OF SERVICE to ON THE MEND!
  12. I saw an episode of Bass Pro's with Timmy Horton and he had removed the legs and inserted weights in the rear to lower the butt end in the water for more action(with no legs). It looks like he might of heated up the holes to seal it up but it was hard to see. I would try to use some 100% silicone andif you wanted legs try skirts off some old spinnerbaits or jigs

  19. Great Post BassChump! It is great to see your Spirit changed from where you were previously It shows just what bassresource.com can do. It has been a blessing for me these past few weeks as I am unable to work, drive, and worst of all fish. But it has been this forum that is full of good people of encouragement, wisdom, and somewhat humerous at time that keep me from going crazy on these long uneventful days Enjoy your camping trip and I pray you catch you a five pounder!

  22. You will be fine with 6-8 hours. Oil paint dries as your reducers evaporate so as long as it has tacked up(fairly dry to touch) the water should not effect it It will only stop it from curing while it is in the water. Once removed from the water it will begin to cure again.
  23. What goes around, comes around. BE PREPARED!
