Which line for my new Citica 200E?
P-Line flouroclear is another good option when choosing a co-poly- A lot of good sticks use it as well as the gamma. When it comes to 100% flouro then Trilene is best- a considerable number of pros are using it- even the unsponsored.

got a budget? I like gamma co-poly. There is much better line out there than Yo Zuri IMO.

Has ANYONE even seen a spinner bait in the color "baby blue"?
Why wouldn't you just get different skirts? Kinda what I was thinking also- although I know a guy that has over 1,000 comic books- we have us a spinnerbait fanatic on board thats cool. I have 2 boxes of complete spinnerbaits along with tons of spare/diff skirts and blades to switch around.

Spinner Baits
Overcast and windy don't leave home without a spinnerbait- if it is blue bird clear water chances are you are better off using something completely different- these are general applications- there is always "that guy" that defies all odds, for us mere mortals put the odds in your favor-

10lb club... Need Suggestions
X2 if it is that important to get a 10LB fish go where they are most prevelant, A friend of mine got a 12 last winter out of Bacarrac- The odds of you going somewhere (especially in the US) with out a guide in one week getting a 10LBer are very slim sorry but it would be silly to expect that

Guard your secret baits.....
X2 once again- I have hand tied jigs and hand pours made specially for smallmouth up here in the northwest- I guarantee you, you do not have anything like them- once again I'd say sectret bait status

Guard your secret baits.....
I would agree, until money is on the line. Some people here, Tin included, are serious tourney fishermen. You're not going to want to give away what makes you money. X2 yeah the magician means more than the wand yada yada yada- when you're fishing against top notch anglers the playing field is not as unlevel as say a beginner against a novice, that being said with money on the line it is different it just is- I know for a fact a guy can find out what works from someone else and use it to their advantage-

Weight of this smallie?
Most def over 4. It looks a lil short for a 5- more like a chunky 4 but hey I have been off in the past nice fish dude.

Drop shot line
I've been tying palomar knots with flouro for years and no problems 4lb test on up- wet it cinch it down nice firm and smooth no herky jerky movements. You may indeed be setting the hook too firmly- reel up to the pressure point and slow sweep while reeling once you got'em keep the tip up and keep the rod loaded- fine tune that drag for light line-

Anyone own a street bike (Crotch Rocket)???
Anything over 85mph on a public road/HWY/Int. is rediculous- I am only 30 not like an old man and an ex-racer. Going that fast is simply crazy and wreckless on any public transit system, I agree with speedbead.

What baits do you always tie on for an outing
crank spinnerbait shakey head drop shot jig

Guard your secret baits.....
I have decoys tied on if I am on to something I will leave them on my deck and put the real weapons in the rod locker before I put my boat on the trailer- Proved to be beneficial, I will never outright lie to someone (say I caught them on cranks when it was actually drop shot or other soft plastics) thats just not right but what they don't know will not hurt them- I will say I caught them on soft plastics or reaction but thats about as far as it goes. After the tourny I will tell all because it dosent matter anymore things change so much. I know a guy that will log past tourny's and the following year will use exactly what he "heard or saw" someone use- put it this way it is almost always different. As far as someone coming up to you on the water- well, especially when prefishing I will put down the ace in the hole and let them pic out the one in 7-12 possiblilities that are stowed under the rod savers-

Who is your favorite all time quarterback?
Troy Aikman never complained and played hurt stats did not matter to him- played and started on a team that went 1-15 then went on to win 3 super bowls in 4 years. Great accuracy and game management- If I could pick one out of any era to start for my team he would be it at quarterback.

Anyone own a street bike (Crotch Rocket)???
For me the enjoyment of a high performace street bike does not out weigh the danger. To each there own, just know that no matter how good of a rider you are, you will never be able to make up for the unpredictable taffic around you. Be very careful

President Franklin D. Smallmouth
I lost count on a day my fellow competitor said he caught over 100- I am sure I did too- it was in the middle of the summer a lot of the fish were dinks- I think a 2.25 was big fish in the tourny- the hawgs were down deep and very hard to locate let alone get bit- so I proceeded to power fish using the numbers game- got almost 9LBS in 5 fish but boy was it busy-

Whats your favorite Shallow Crankbaits
RC 1.5 or 2.5 depending on what they want, if they are really agressive then Luhr Jensen speed trap- These two are all I need for shallow runners.

Sweet Beaver
This bait is so amazing I wish I were the one who thought it up first and the only one to have it- simply amazing fish it anyway you can imagine- I panic if I don't have over 50 on the boat with me. That being said don't use them send them to me... ;D
