don't be afraid to upsize the hook a bit and put on a larger bait like a fluke- too often guys only use 4" finesse worms exclusively, the same guys that say all they catch is little fish on drop shots-

As a beginner I tried my best to be as diverse as possible- it has paid off, I have reached a level that has suprised myself, this is my 5th year in competition now, I own my own boat and I am fishing against the best sticks around here- holding my own and branching out even more for 2009- I love this sport- good fishing to ya

hand tied by me- finesse diamond shaped head short shank hook- color varies usaully natural though. No heavier than 3/8oz- I fish them from 1ft to 35ft of water dosen't matter and they are awesome!

I have caught some of my bigger fish on spinnerbaits- but yeah I can't brag on one lure- I got lots

maybe a spelling error in there but thats what it is called- its mostly white with a yellow/chart stripe down the sides of it, great bait been a lotta $$$ cashed on that one.

I tie my own- the craws are different up here

early spring I will fish them like a jig- in some cases dead stick them after they hit some rocks- its weird but I have had some lazy winter bass just come over and pick it up after they hear it crash 30sec to a minute before-

I like to put an owner red treb up front (I think its a ST36 I like???? don't have it in front of me). I use the stocker in the back til' it starts bending over- lucky hooks are awesome til they start wearing then its time for an owner or gamakatsu round bend whatever I have on hand.

Gost minnow and Chartruse shad are all I throw and I usually put the hurt'n on guys throwing different colors

Yup. 8-) X3 for sure- jig it and crank it, the fish that don't want the jig may go for the crank vice versa-

The camera distance and angle can be deceptive to the untrained eye- this one I caught in august weighed 5.62 on a cull-em rite the pic does it no justice IMO.

I owned one sold it to a friend- the new shimano's citica and curado blow it away- for the same price range
