There were strong winds yesterday but it didnāt seem to affect the competitors at all, somehow they love that stuff. What was pretty wild that we noticed was the water color. It was stained at takeoff from Wednesday night storms but not bad. By the afternoon, the water at takeoff was ultra brown coming down from the mountain runoff. Looks like similar conditions today according to the deep dive app for Ft loudon. Upper end and little river arm, as well as some major creeks, are muddy. The lower end main channel is better but slowly staining from the current moving through The interesting part about tellico, where a majority of the leading competitors seemed to fish yesterday, it the duality of reservoir. The little TN river arm (coming from chilhowee lake) almost always stays clear regardless of rainfall amounts. It is insulated from several tall dams upstream holding back water. The Tellico River arm (southwest side) is much muddier because there are no dams on that river. Several anglers like muddy water, several like clear so keep an eye out for those differences. The current is much more of a consensus, everyone seems to love that across the board. The Wednesday night rainfall dump has the flood gates open in lenoir city again, Iāve never heard anyone say that hurts the fishing. Look for some big bags today!!!

21 lbs something We are near the front row- Bassmasters Classic
Some frost on the dock at takeoff. All the anglers front deck carpet had frost lining up before takeoff John cox! Thought I heard them say 2/3 of the field is on tellico, thatās where my infamously famous slow lakehouse remodel is ongoing . Did demo again Sunday š- Bassmasters Classic
I stand corrected, they are catching pretty good. Saw palanuik in my spot at crackhead creek just after takeoff š- Fantasy Fishing 2026
Cox came very close last time it was in Knoxville, maybe even the last two times. He was fishing near IC king park both times with a crank- when the fishing isn't ideal, are you listening to anything? music?
Always sports when Iām solo with earbud, music on Bluetooth speaker when my buddies are on board. I turn it down if thereās a boat within eyesight. Had a guy in a boat keep coming closer to me one day and it was weirding me out, he then said āIām just getting closer so I can listen to Hank Sr with youā š. I lost my marbles when TN won a college World Series game in my kayak once, I think the lakefront homeowners most likely decided I escaped the nervous hospital Also, the southeastern US is by far the most forested part of the country so believe it or not, we too have leaves- A non-fishing fishing report

Well, the competitors are now met with crappy conditions of course. It was warm and sunny trend for about two weeks straight. 80 degrees yesterday. Storms blew in at sunset, it snowed, and every tributary Iāve seen today is Willy wonka chocolate factory. Iād go to Norris if I was going fishing! Iām sure they will still catch fish but it could have been a lot better- Tics

I start with finesse then try some finesse. They quit biting power fishing baits here in the George H bush administration- How many miles do you go to fish?
Iād depends. Sometimes I walk thru my yard and fish off my dock, sometimes I drive 2 miles to a boat ramp, sometimes I drive 6 hours to southern Alabama, sometimes I drive 2 days to northern Michigan, sometimes I drive 13 hours to southern Florida- Latest Catch Pics Thread
@Jigfishn10 , first few hours was sopping up water. Then the next few was cutting open ceiling finding the leak. It was between a joist and some dead wood that only an iPhone would fit in from the laundry room. Went on the other side of the wall into the bathroom and had slightly more room to work but not much. Again between a joist and dead wood. I was able to find the leak there and actually touch it with my hands instead of taking pics with my phone and reviewing them š Couldnāt spin my pipe cutter all the way around in the tiny space and had to work blind by feel the whole time because my head wouldnāt fit in there. Had to take the blade off a hacksaw and Work it back and forth with my fingers to cut the pipe. All while standing on a vanity. And not standing straight up because that would mash my head against the ceiling so crouching the whole time. Kneeling on the vanity was barely too short. I could have been the star of a film called ācrouching plumber leaking copperā Luckily the ceilings are already two tone in several places š, Iām guessing from previous leaks. Somehow all those solder joints that have turned blue held even with me basically doing chin ups on them to get a clean enough cut in that tiny space. The leak was a pinhole but it was a rager, enough to spread water all over the floor of 3 rooms and an open area. @Brycecover , if you were asking me where Iām located, in east TN- Latest Catch Pics Thread
After piddling around with a plumbing leak from 4 am to 4 pm that involved destroying my ceilings, I got out on the water from 5:30-8. Daylight savings is nice. Got the triple crown of black bass, probably had 6 or so fish, all on purple worm.- IMG_6447.jpeg
