Pond Observations
Wild animals love to reproduce…… sounds like there is at least one other crappie…… that you know of…… they can hide too

Looks like it’s going to hartwell. I attended this event in 2022 with my tent and a canoe and it was pretty cool! Little bit of a drive from the water to the arena but I think it was 30 minutes or less. And fish bit like crazy. I got all tiny ones near the campsite but it’s a big enough lake to where you won’t be in anyone’s way no matter what boat you bring. We camped at lake hartwell state park. Launched once right from the site and another time from a ramp next to the GA state line. Ate at a tasty Mexican restaurant in Greeneville that’s name escapes me. It’s a good one to bring your wife to, not sure why exactly but women love Greeneville, I think it’s the shopping

@Blue Raider Bob , I’d guess either the one you put in there laid eggs and/or they are coming in from the creek

Weightless lures always work best for me in clear ponds as well. Bob, any pond manager will tell you crappies are a no no. To quote Jurassic park, “nature finds a way”

Hey man….. didn’t you swim after your boat to retrieve it? That’s hardcore!- The Beer Is Brewing, The Trash Is Flying, and The Race For The Pennant Is On!
I think Boston did that in 2004 and Los Angeles missed it by a year with the rams/dodgers- Road To the Superbowl 2027

Cool to hear TO won it, seems like wheeler Gill or Connell win 90% of the tourneys on that trail- Using Juvenile Bass to Catch Adult Bass
Most lakes have a 15” minimum keeper size here now. It would Be legal anywhere in TN but I’m not sure where you could keep a small bass. I think there are places you can but I don’t know of any close by- First time Classic attendee looking for advice
The takeoff at volunteer landing would probably be worth going to . The restaurants are quite numerous…… all depends on what you’re into. Market Square/old city/gay street will have plenty to choose from within walking distance of all the events .- Latest Catch Pics Thread
Cold…… but I got 3. Wind and 34 ish degree air, my hands and legs were frozen on the way back to the dock. One spot one smallie and one blacknose crappie. Fished the calm spots I could find in river bend- IMG_6265.jpeg

@T-Billy fishing for musky? Beyond hardcore. I need to catch something, I can’t do those fruitless trips often, which is why I haven’t caught a musky…… @Tackleholic , you are after those Ozark bass even when it is cold as can be- Who's the hardest core angler at Bass Resource?
@Team9nine and @GreenPig never seem to stop catching fish, therefore they must be trying pretty hard aka hardcore anglers @bp_fowler and @BrianMDTX taking small boats into public parks/ponds and catching nice fish But yeah @Zcoker everglades at night???? That’s beyond hardcore- Who's the hardest core angler at Bass Resource?
Thanks yall. I don’t necessarily feel like it’s hardcore frequently participating in my favorite activity but I appreciate the kind thoughts! @pdxfisher out there in a swift 50 ft deep river with the wind blowing pedaling a kayak?? Or @Swamp Girl constantly unhooking largemouth from treble hooks in a canoe that has never once dried out? Having to trudge thru a dark swamp to get there ? Or @Fried Lemons chucking huge swimbaits off a paddleboard all day ? And then you have @Bluebasser86 out there in a kayak slaying LMB when it’s snowing sideways with ice on the tree limbs, on a calm day with only 27 mph winds Now that’s hardcore !- Latest Catch Pics Thread
Little feller saved the skunk. Caught too many fish to count in 1.5 hours Thursday, same spot same time Friday got skunked and Saturday almost got skunked. Overnight storms muddied the water, I hate muddy water- Other Species Latest Catch Pics Thread
