  1. I’m 3 hours NW of there and it was ripping all day, I also postponed today’s fishing 😂. Tomorrow is supposed to rain maybe 2 inches, you could probably check inflows on that app and predict where you’ll find ott Defoe in the back of a muddy creek arm……
  2. @IYAOYAS , i too am excited, I plan on being there
  3. Got to sit in the outfield porch for the first time yesterday afternoon thanks to my buddy Joe. Pretty cool spot! Another buddy was streaming the game from Arizona and saw me celebrating a home run. It was 4 pm first pitch and freezing cold so the crowd was thin 😂
  4. Hahah. My wife loves camping, but they have hotels…..
  5. Wild animals love to reproduce…… sounds like there is at least one other crappie…… that you know of…… they can hide too
  6. Looks like it’s going to hartwell. I attended this event in 2022 with my tent and a canoe and it was pretty cool! Little bit of a drive from the water to the arena but I think it was 30 minutes or less. And fish bit like crazy. I got all tiny ones near the campsite but it’s a big enough lake to where you won’t be in anyone’s way no matter what boat you bring. We camped at lake hartwell state park. Launched once right from the site and another time from a ramp next to the GA state line. Ate at a tasty Mexican restaurant in Greeneville that’s name escapes me. It’s a good one to bring your wife to, not sure why exactly but women love Greeneville, I think it’s the shopping
  7. Thanks man! It just looks like a gizzard shad with hooks every time you post it 😂
  8. I still want that spoon
  9. @Blue Raider Bob , I’d guess either the one you put in there laid eggs and/or they are coming in from the creek
  10. Weightless lures always work best for me in clear ponds as well. Bob, any pond manager will tell you crappies are a no no. To quote Jurassic park, “nature finds a way”
  11. Hey man….. didn’t you swim after your boat to retrieve it? That’s hardcore!
  12. I think Boston did that in 2004 and Los Angeles missed it by a year with the rams/dodgers
  13. Cool to hear TO won it, seems like wheeler Gill or Connell win 90% of the tourneys on that trail
  14. Most lakes have a 15” minimum keeper size here now. It would Be legal anywhere in TN but I’m not sure where you could keep a small bass. I think there are places you can but I don’t know of any close by
  15. The takeoff at volunteer landing would probably be worth going to . The restaurants are quite numerous…… all depends on what you’re into. Market Square/old city/gay street will have plenty to choose from within walking distance of all the events .
  16. Cold…… but I got 3. Wind and 34 ish degree air, my hands and legs were frozen on the way back to the dock. One spot one smallie and one blacknose crappie. Fished the calm spots I could find in river bend
  17. @T-Billy fishing for musky? Beyond hardcore. I need to catch something, I can’t do those fruitless trips often, which is why I haven’t caught a musky…… @Tackleholic , you are after those Ozark bass even when it is cold as can be
