  1. The orientation portion of the middle of the video is where rivers can be nice on a breezy day. A good many of the places I fish are narrow and have sharp meanders, and are always at the bottom of a hill. If one spot is windy you can usually go around the bend and it will be calm. You just have to hope the leeward river bends are fishy that day
  2. I would be pretty awesome with oars and oar locks! Granted I had rapids in mind but the deep V might not be ideal for that
  3. I’d try it and see what the smallmouth think
  4. Worm, fluke, buzzbait, jig, spook. Could interchange popper for spook
  5. Longer trailers are def easier, I learned on a lawn tractor with a tiny short wagon when I was a kid, that thing was all over the place haha now that you can back your trailer into the water, you get to experience a whole new set of problems with corrosion. Still better than toting a heavy kayak tho
  6. Might be worth it to drive up here if you bring a really big tank 😂
  7. Crappie, white bass, bald eagles, fun day. The crappie were running bigger than normal, but about half the size of what @Team9nine catches . First time I remember not getting any non keepers
  8. I gassed up today. E-10 was 2.99 and 100% gas was 3.39. It’s pretty much always a 40 cent difference per gallon at that station. Other stations do jack up the pure stuff a lot more
  9. The wind doesn’t blow here often thank goodness . It did yesterday though, probably a light breeze compared to anything in the Midwest
  10. Love the “yig!” it’s also fun to pronounce with a Y
  11. Indeed I have, didn’t see anyone using it
  12. And a snorkel exhaust
  13. Chris Johnston was too On the spinning rods: Using nothing but baitcasters is fine if you like eating pride sandwiches and not winning . I like both and don’t fish tourneys so it doesn’t matter but if you want to cash checks consistently in the BASS elite series you better be able to do it all
  14. Not quite…… they don’t even get a scholarship at UT
  15. Which is probably like 101 at the weigh in
  16. Something tells me blaukat won’t notice the people fishing shallow ……. Selectively
  17. I’d guess they will start collectively bargaining if it does change
  18. You beat me too it. Johnston said that was the dumbest bed fish he has ever fished for
  19. Well when you can cast underhand to the bank and the boat is sitting in 125’, you really don’t have much choice. We’ve got tons of places like that
  20. it has nothing to do with transfers The details were, the NCAA chairman sat on live TV and said there were no rules concerning NIL for the players (nov 2023). Then they said TN broke some rules that didn’t exist recruiting their quarterback, mainly a plane ride from CA to Knoxville, guess he was supposed to take a greyhound. maybe 6-8 months ago the NCAA fined UT 12 million dollars after a separate 2 yr investigation. Basically the NCAA keeps making up stuff regardless of anti trust laws and got taken to court and lost again. NCAA was also defeated 9-0 in the US Supreme Court, they are a joke. To put it in layman’s terms , they barked up the wrong tree again and got bit
