  1. March comes in like a lion, they say.
  2. Oh my goodness you solved it
  3. Maybe one day earth will just make the weather the way everybody wants it to be all the time. I wouldn’t hold out for it, but maybe
  4. I don’t know about that, but I have decades of experience crawling into scary small places 😂
  5. I know what to do They actually asked Fujita that question and he said he’s not worried. He won 4 AOY titles before it was invented
  6. But you were close once…… European sea bass sounds lovely on the menu but it’s really just white bass and catfish 😂
  7. I’ve seen people fish with drones, it doesn’t work. Fish pulls it into the water, bye bye $1,000. Ed Laughron on bass elite series has those glasses, it shows him the livescope screen thru the lens. He said he didn’t use them this tourney but has for crappie fishing
  8. I hope y’all get some rain! We have some currently but the wind is howling
  9. I tried to warn yall . Same thing will happen in March and April too. we got 2 feet of snow on March 12, 1993. Yes you read that correctly, 2 feet. we still have to go thru redbud winter, dogwood winter, blackberry winter, and probably a few more that I’m forgetting 😂
  10. Haha that’s exactly what it is but nobody likes taxes either 13????? I’m jealous. Ours is one of the highest in America. I don’t even think $13 will get you a single day license here. When my buddies come from out of state they have to buy a minimum 3 day license for like $33
  11. Excellent points. Last year they were smashing them off shore with topwater on Champlain but the whiners were out in full force about kyoya. Another funny one I’ve been hearing a lot recently is all you see is the anglers back. I don’t remember a cameraman ever standing in front of the fisherman, kind of hard to operate the trolling motor that way. Last year on Fork, Livesay won with a topwater throwing out of the back of the boat, but the cameraman was in the front so you could still only see his back
  12. @gimruis Yes it’s the one in the pic. his boat sank and he said it hasn’t turned on ever since. I got under the console and cut a thousand wire ties and found the red wire disconnected 😂. Touched them to a hot battery and it fired up. It’s a fiberglass center console so I probably can’t fish the wires into the belly properly but he had an auxiliary battery under there that seemed like a good option. He’s going to look at it tomorrow and make a decision. Then he wants me to wire up a brand new tiny little garmin onto his sailboat. Luckily it’s all open in the belly
  13. Yall ever get surprised? Happened to me today. My boss needed help troubleshooting his depth finder so I helped him for a bit. The wind was blowing 20-30 so I didn’t want to use my boat. Fished off the dock at the paddle shop where we work for 1.5 hours after that and caught 22 fish, 5 species. Got one largemouth that was pretty nice! Check out this state of the art livescope
  14. That way they usually end up dead before they steal all the dog food. And you are correct there is never a single mouse
  15. Believe me, I wish I didn’t have to pay the extra fees. But I fish constantly and usually get checked a dozen times per year. The idea of a fishing license itself drives me somewhat crazy, but there is no way around it. I’m just trying to get supper. They waste the money exponentially, par for the course
  16. Seems like he won one out of that boat too, I may have mentioned the wrong tourney. He’s got a jet too. I think he used the tunnel hull/prop after the jet was outlawed.
  17. @Bird, I agree with your wife, quite frustrating
