  1. Dang pat you are always on the bigs !!! I have those same oars and oar locks………. Hard to spot lock them 😂 I went fishing a while in my boat today, white bass completely evaded me which is somewhat rare but I got a crappie and a nice SM and a couple tiny LM
  2. The kid loves a jig and so do I 😂
  3. I guess the young kids are just supposed to let the old people win………. g man has livescope and has for years , he’s invested. He got a century belt at lake fork last time they were there, think it was 2021. old guys have never dominated tournaments, live sonar is a convenient excuse i knew Tyler Williams was good but didn’t know he was that good. Congrats to McKinney, he put in the work all offseason while the old guard was busy hunting and complaining
  4. I can’t either but I still love to watch it . You can learn quite a bit if you pay attention, all the stuff we read in the magazines was just a guess on what bass do , and mostly incorrect
  5. This is, quite literally, a picture of the back of my boat
  6. Everything is always going to kill all the bass and ruin all the fishing, same story for decades. Yet the fish thrive, I can catch them in a trash heap
  7. My first guess is American bittern
  8. I think I just realized why I’ve never come across the need for such a device, I only use like 6-8 combos so I know what’s on them all. Just ask @12poundbass I’m a slow learner 😂
  9. I didn’t know gallant was smashing them all week, wow
  10. Holy Thompkins!!!! and right after that Kyle Patrick with another good one big ones being caught like crazy all of a sudden
  11. Can you not just go by what line diameter is printed on the box or do they fudge the numbers ?
  12. Hahaha thank you!! Is the prize out in the hallway? I did post it directly under the words black cherry so it wasn’t completely random. Maybe 2nd place ? I haven’t scrolled back thru all the old posts but when I saw that J francho had chimed in, I fully expected him to say make sure your purse matches your belt and shoes
  13. I do recall the first time I heard the term El Niño it flooded like crazy. That usually means like 76 degrees instead of 86 degrees. But then again it nearly always floods, 2012 and 13 was the last time we really dried out for very long. Not many crops here so we welcome droughts 😂, the only side effects are material like bans on washing cars or filling up swimming pools
  14. Guess I’ll have to go with numbers 1 and 3 😂
  15. Dead bluegill is good bait for monster bass, although we used real ones 😂
  16. As long as old records don’t count….. the caveman papers all burned up when it got hot dinosaur: “hold my beer” according to local reports, we’ve had the hottest coldest wettest driest year every year since about 2018. (Excluding anything that happened before 1900 sooooo basically just say whatever you want so people will click your app) Geologists: “the earth is millions of years old and was once covered in glaciers” reckon it was cold back then ? meteorologists: nah, yesterday was the COLDEST
  17. I’ve never tried it but their stuff is usually really good. We used simple green back when I was young and we had a pleasure boat
  18. Can You guys on the top half of the map please take winter back next year?? Been “one of the worst on record” down here. That quoted phrase always makes me laugh, like we just pretend the ice age didn’t happen
