  1. Somebody said they caught all theirs sight fishing , believe it was Kreiger. Said he saw another monster that wouldn’t bite
  2. J Lee picking up right where he left off, dude is amazing
  3. Pipkens got 2 fish for 4 lbs, that’s how I roll hamner says he cracked em with a jig and a baitcaster, claims Alabama boys like to set the hook 😂
  4. I’m sure it helps some when you buy whatever is on the commercials. But the opens field is always full with people trying to get to the elites, willing to fork over big bucks for a chance
  5. Tribs are clearing nicely @Blue Raider Bob
  6. The fans aren’t the customers, the competitors are. I don’t pay them a dime, each competitor pays them about 45k dollars per year
  7. Yeah they discussed it in offseason and made no rules/restrictions . Pandora is out of the box, why limit something that helps them catch more bass and learn about their habits ? Viewership went up 11%
  8. Why even use a hook ?
  9. Well by what you just said, it will be just like every spinning reel you’ve ever owned minus one accident if youve never used the switch
  10. I wonder how kyoya sees it with a cover on it schlapper weighed that fish at 8.5, although they always weigh more at the weigh in. Makes ya wonder about those catch weigh release tourney scales bouncing in waves. I guess it doesn’t matter too much when the winner has a 25 lb lead Luke Palmer just got a big one with 2 inch bait, smaller than some crappie stuff
  11. Whole lot of spotted bass showing up, it’s a wonder the LM can even survive with those wolves in the water…… (sarcasm) schlapper has a beast, he’s thinking 10 lbs Thought you didn’t like the screens? Covering it up should please you, no? 😂
  12. @casts_by_fly Ok according to a Google search lake fork is indeed the Sabine River. Guess I wasn’t crazy after all (sure…….)
  13. Back in my younger days we had to stand in downpours all the time and “guide” for trout. My pack full of fly boxes was always sopping wet, I don’t think it dried out for the better part of 2008-2010. A lot of those size 18-22 hooks would be rusted. Depending on how friendly (and attentive) the fisher person was, I would sometimes let them fish with the rusted hooks . They broke in half on the extremely late hooksets, clients couldn’t figure out why they missed the fish. I would just say toss it back in there and try again and they would miss several more bites because they didn’t have a hook point. Trying not to laugh was the hardest part if anyone ever books a guide, don’t be a jerk or this could happen to you 😂
  14. Been watching for 15 minutes and Fujita got a 4.5 and a 5.5! He’s also fishing right next to a boat lane, people are whizzing right by him haha also walters is just a machine
  15. Lake fork is also the Sabine River edit: after I posted that I followed it on Apple Maps and it’s not quite, but awfully close haha. Could have sworn I fished the Sabine right below fork dam but that was 2006 and apparently I was a few clicks off also fishing below a dams in Texas is not quite as productive as TVA dams, I remember almost being able to cast all the way across the river from the bank
  16. Apparently Robert Gee in second place with 29 lbs is from Knoxville , I had no idea
  17. I was going to post something but it’s no use when the jerk plug master @Dwight Hottle has already spoken
  18. J Lee with 22 lbs
  19. Steve Kennedy said he hit the bank and caught a couple giants, he didn’t elaborate too much but I think he said he caught them with a rat
  20. Holy fujita 31 lbs
  21. Zaldain had 19 lbs with a 7 lber in there
  22. Well it looks big enough to fish the one creek for a lifetime haha
  23. Same here! I’ve been using them about 30 yrs and I fillet a lot of fish. And cut up a lot of bait.
  24. There he is! So you fish in housen a lot ?
