  1. That definitely makes sense! We used to always go play putt putt with my mom on Father’s Day because that’s what we used to do with my dad before he passed. That was 30 years ago and like others said time does heal wounds. Maybe some kind of family tradition to honor your dad every so often could help?
  2. This is going to sound wacky but best thing I’ve ever done (and I’ve done it twice now) is to go back to hand control TM. This time I even went 12v and I like it better, less money less charging plenty of power. I was going to replace my 24v maxxum but didn’t have $600
  3. I’ll just have to take your word for it and use my 10 marabou jigs for $2.79
  4. Never punched or bought tungsten anything. No mats for hours in all directions
  5. I’d like to think the old man would want me to keep on with my life and be strong , maybe even learn from the whole experience and become somehow better from it.
  6. With a fly rod! Sorry couldn’t resist….. With spinning I would try to maybe use a bobber for some weight to cast
  7. I saw that happen a couple times!
  8. That is awesome!!!! Have you done source to sea on the MS river?
  9. ? yeah….. what a drag…….. don’t throw me in the briar patch. Glad I was setting mouse traps in a 120 degree attic instead today
  10. He almost won at lake Murray, SC didn’t he?
  11. You can throw it on a baitcaster but not that worm. Need a heavier stick bait. Gotta use lighter gear for the ribbon tail
  12. Cody Huff said his trolling motor battery went to sleep…..
  13. They just finished building a state of the the art grain silo safety training facility near my in laws house, it’s not an uncommon cause of death
  14. You guessed it , I only do that when I’m running up shallow rivers in the middle of nowhere. Usually there’s not even a ramp, just a steep place to shove it off the trailer

Hahahah. Yellow jackets , not sure what they classify as. They suck and there are always hundreds in a hole in the ground
  16. I’ve done that many times in my swamp boat. It goes about 11-12 miles an hour and I make a 12 mile run in it frequently, quite monotonous and loud haha. My throttle hand is usually cramped by the time we arrive
  17. Zoom. honorable mention: bill Lewis rat L trap
  18. Now that I’ll buy! I‘ve floated 20 miles in a canoe before, didn’t allow for much fishing time
  19. At 5 mph that’s pushing 6 hours pedal time, no time left to fish
