That definitely makes sense! We used to always go play putt putt with my mom on Father’s Day because that’s what we used to do with my dad before he passed. That was 30 years ago and like others said time does heal wounds. Maybe some kind of family tradition to honor your dad every so often could help?

You guessed it , I only do that when I’m running up shallow rivers in the middle of nowhere. Usually there’s not even a ramp, just a steep place to shove it off the trailer

I’ve done that many times in my swamp boat. It goes about 11-12 miles an hour and I make a 12 mile run in it frequently, quite monotonous and loud haha. My throttle hand is usually cramped by the time we arrive
