Bass boat and Great Lakes seems to equal broken stuff and limited on which days you can safely fish . Windshield or something designed for offshore saltwater would allow you more days

Got a decent one right off the bat this evening then only dinks. My buddy’s dog was trying to eat them all as we brought them into the boat. Barely dodged a lot of lightning and got a cool cloud photo

I was seeing this Sunday anywhere it was over 18 feet back in our creek , I believe this a thermocline but not 100% sure. I know the water is way colder down 10+ feet

In TN and AL you catch smallies with any tackle, crankbaits top waters chatterbaits etc .

I thought big bite baits had something similar at one point

Voles are mouse sized and eat the roots off of bushes and flowers, mole traps would be way too large. Trapping voles would most likely be ineffective, I’ve only caught a few by accident in mouse traps in peoples garages . They are usually controlled by putting rodenticide down in the visual tunnels. They can’t dig a network of tunnels themselves, they will usually take over old mole runs or places where a tree and its roots rotted away.
