  1. Gulp minnow on jig head
  2. Been hearing about him on the radio all morning. They said he was always impressing on scout team so they elevated him. I also remember hearing about him during the recruiting process
  3. When you cast, manually close the bail with your hand instead of with the reel handle. This eliminates loops 99 percent of the time
  4. I’m going to a friggin wedding that day....... but fort Loudon dam is usually good for a few white bass/crappie/catfish with the occasional big largemouth smallmouth or striper . Melton hill dam can be good and is only 9 miles away from Ft Loudon dam. There’s a few boat ramps on topside rd that have a lot of bank fishing opportunities and are a little closer to Knoxville
  5. As you can see, it is subject to change on a daily basis. Looks like 409 ft is normal low water mark
  6. Fishing season is just kicking into full gear for me........ Rubbing it in.........
  7. Usually below dams is best for being limited to bank fishing, altough typically most crowded. There are also some public parks and boat ramp with lots of land to walk around on and cast. Some bank guys have been doing good on catfish around downtown
  8. Bank fishing or boat?
  9. Same thing here
  10. I thought largemouth bass were native to all of America except the western deserts
  11. I don’t know, this website is about as far as my internet skill set goes
  12. I’ve also heard there’s all kinds of free stuff they typically are giving away
  13. Use jig heads poured with hot glue instead of lead for a lighter option that you can fish shallow. I don’t throw them but that’s what I’ve heard to do

Got one on a fluke today and had a school of 6 or 8 fish attack it also, which I somehow missed. Had a 5/0 offset, couldn’t find a straight shank in the boat
  15. Got a mixed bag today bunch of short largemouth and short crappie. One 16” largemouth and one keeper size crappie (10”) . Also got a bluegill and a yellow perch, water temp 60 and windy/cloudy/rainy
  16. I don’t think anyone was knocking the angler or his fish. All the “negativity” was aimed at the size estimate. I would call it innacuracy instead of negativity myself
  17. They top out as big as you will find on planet Earth. Problem is, they are smart
  18. I've never been but thats because I'm always fishing instead.
  19. I'm waiting for @TOXIC to chime in......
  20. Y’all must have access to some different pictures than the one I saw
  21. Well 8 months later I finally caught one!! I was snatching it through milfoil, water temp was 66. I will definitely be fishing it more this way, @Bluebasser86 was kind enough to make me some more since I currently only have the 1. I'm hoping to get some bites in spring also when there is no grass
  22. This is why the words record and released don't belong in the same article . Looks like a 5 and a half !
  23. Put one of the gizzards on a circle hook
