  1. Almost shut out today, playing with different baits.....they wanted a wacky worm....sometimes I wonder why I have a ton of bait!
  2. I didn't think anything could top the GLX, but used my brother-in-law's this afternoon and I was so wrong.....think I could feel a fish fart as he passed my jig ?

Take your shoes off and stay a while!
  5. A fishing pole with a dead bass on it! Given the increase of kayakers, I suspect it was one of theirs........additionally, I witnessed a kayakers loosing a pole while playing with a birdsnest....he did however use another pole to hook it......
  6. The 41's pin the fish better, but that is anecdotal.

Love the bait and have experienced the same to a LOW extent. I swapped out the hooks for shorter wide gaps.....I forget the #. I have also adjust the delivery, which is where I believe most of the problems cam from. Added a little lob and didn't go for every inch of casability. I also went to a clip and it works out well
  8. Sluggos (sp) and large jerk bait
  9. If I was going down that path again, it would be tatsu.....but ain't going there
  10. Overtones put them on sale SEVERAL times a yr with free shipping. I get away with the baby unless it is blowing 15 mph
  11. Yes, but until I tried it, I thought the GLX was unbeatable. They are wants, not needs. If I did not get a deal on them, the I would stay with the GLX

I have also had good luck on non rocky bottoms.....was just to lazy to retie....
  13. I am using one of my brother-in-law's for the rest of the year and I am getting 2 after the first of the yr. Didn't think there would be that big of difference over the GLX. Still keeping the e6x's for cranks and surface baits
  14. For walking, the pop max is hard to beat, especially if you add an O ring

  21. I am with Jon....
  22. I have moved to box anchors. I have found that the baby and small hold better than anchors 3 times their size. Additionally, you can get away with a MUCH shorter anchor line...2/1
  23. After I read the OP I did some searching and found a fair amount of reviews and the topic has been discussed........but they clearly don't get mentioned as much as loomis, dobyns, Abu, ect, and seldom to the NOOBS. It would have been better if he had more milage or reworded a post about a sponsor. On a side note, many professionals in many sports and hobbys use gear for financial benifits. Not saying it is the case here, but I have been dealing with equipment sponsors and athletes for 25 yrs.
  24. I think the We are having a linguistics issue. Last week lakes in Central NH hit 70 degrees on top and 65 five feet down. Our shallows exploded with growth as did some of the transition points. They did not roll over.
