  1. Somehow that makes me feel better ?
  2. While it is very good, the Rats have out performed it
  3. Looks good, but I enjoy all your videos? Thanks for taking the time
  4. Depending on the wait, I throught them on a H swimbait rod rated to 2 ounce or a MH CB rod rated for 1 ounce
  5. I just don't get why such heavy braid.. This weekend I did some bay fishing and was landing 40 inch bass on 10 lb Braid with 20 lb FC, no digging in and in fact after a couple the line performed better...
  6. Unless you are in the salad, I think it is overkill, but no real downside
  7. Given a 5 lb'er on my lake is big, I play the law of number and don't go bigger that 6 inches, unless it is a surface or shallow swimmer
  8. For shallow cranks, I really don't think it matters as much as think. I throw a good deal of red, but others have equal luck on tiger, chartreuse, white bellies.
  9. Given this thread is 5 yrs old, perhaps starting a new one might be in order.......on a side note I think there were reviews on TW about ghost white...think it was 832
  10. If you are thinking red for visibility, yellow may be a safer bet......I have seen what red can to to an interior when it bleeds

Studies are coming in showing that the lotions may be VERY toxit. There is a sunscreen buyers guide that goes into the matter in great detail
  12. Welcome aboard! I find the e6x to very versatile and I have 3 of them, that said, there is no wrong decision here.
  13. Go with low vis green.......this way, if you choose to go without leader, your in a better position
  14. Anything over 6lb in my lake is huge. The record may be just over 7. No signs of spawning but we are close. Let's hot there is something to the theory of "full moon" as it is this week A lot of frustrated guys on the lake the last few weeks......and I am one of them
  15. Taking off the 0 ring and tying direct is often enough to keep the nose up
  16. I have seen things Like that, but on the flip side, there are a couple tournaments on my home lake and the competitors go out of their way to be friendly to the locals and give them room. The locals also enjoy the comp as the weight in spot is pretty good for a couple weeks ?
  17. Pull up a chair and take a load off!

It is. It that complicated, the major brands all put out good glass. You can easily get by with one part, bit before I had prescriptions made, I had 2 pairs, one of Everlast and one for blue bird days. Never found a need to change because I went to open water. Remember, the darkest or color can limit viewing your electronics. Gray seams to be a good universal color. Rose and blues sreamboat also good on lower light days. I do like full wrap as limiting side light enhances optics
  19. Guys with canoes buy a utility trailer 48" x 10' and make a cradle with a little riding over the tounge and a little off the back.....pretty short money from home depot
  20. On a spinning set-up, 10 lb Braid, with 8 lb FC leader and good to go. Providing you don't over spool it, almost any will do. PP is cheap and readily available.....I have it on all my spinning gear
  21. I get to fish with some old tournament guys and they bring it back fast after passing over the strike zone. A fast reel makes it even better. They end up spending far more time over the cover than I do, as I tend to fish it back to the boat
  22. The impact definitely has my attention, while it doesn't best the pro v, it shares some nice characteristics.... The Rebel is something I could live with, if it was a second boat or divorced, but then again if divorced the Pro V would be in my yard? I want @A-Jay boat
  23. I have seen more than one missing the tab, but can't comment with first hand knowledge....call the service Dept in a marina you trust

On a side note.....the big difference in price with garments rated 15 through 50 is the feel. Most inexpensive shirts feel like you are wearing a plastic bag. Single layer shirts require a breeze to cool you down, where as the most lined shirts creat an airspace that keeps you cooler When the breeze isn't blowing
  25. I use a 6:1, but would not hesitate to use a 7:1
