Damaged skeg
I have had a couple look like that.... The skegguard is a great fix and doesn't require much sled to bolt through. if worse comes to worst, most welding shops will build a new one for 250.00. My buddy got his done for 100.00 plus a case of beer

Right now I am using 6:1 with 8 lb tatsu truth Th be told, 10 lb 832 gets down faster !

I too use a lot of siebert and have had a lot of luck with the ragetail. Any plastic shorter than 4 inches is a candidate when the bite drops off

Angler killed at Genoa Dam
This happens more than you would expect. I WAS an experienced white water kayaker, that was stepped over a low dam with a PFD. Dispite having a safety team, I was dragged to the bottom, went unconscious and was revived when I surfaced a mile down stream. No more dams for me. Prayers to the family

Stepping off the ladder into shallow water and getting a hook stuck in my heel. Off to the hospital as it was stuck in my plantar facia..........water shoes for now on

IMX Pro
I have tried the IMX pro and own a GLX and a couple e6x. I love the GLX the most and will have another one soon. The E6x's are specifically for CB and SB and did not want to throw a lot of money at those techniques. The IMX is somewhere between the GLX and the e6x. This weekend I am going to rig the pro identical to my GLX and make a side by side comparison
