Spawning bass in late July
The last 2 days, we caught 3 ladies that have yet to spawn. Talking to some locals, they say they have seen a few spawn in Aug and this is central NH

Boat issue
A friend will understand. If this is becomes a greater problem, trim tabs of 4 blade is the answer. Spring loaded trim tabs can be had for 150.00 and installed in 30 minutes

Anchor ?
Can't believe there are 2 pages on this ?

Megabass Destroyer Daemos opinions?
I have the FMJ and it does not compare to the GLX 842c. I find MB to work better with 1/2 to 5/8 baits. I usually had a weighted TRIG craw or 3/4 jig tied on

Pontoon boats
I had a 24, triple log with a 150 and it was fine with the exception of wind. I have seen them with a TM and Talon. The biggest problem is handling it solo if anchoring is required

Warrior Project: Custom Rods
WOW! I can't tell you how honored and humbled I am to receive this. Little things are big things and the timing couldn't be better given some medical issues that need tending to soon. This community is something special and my hat's off to those that do the heavy lifting and the elders that share their knowledge. Thanks, from a gratefull Marine...

Anchor ?
Thus is why I carry a box anchor. It allows you to carry 1/2 the rope as compared to a traditional anchor and yes, no chain. In fact 3/5 anchor line is preferred. I always keep a larger loop at the chest end to attach an extra length with a carabiner is needed.

Topwater.....
.....don't sell yourself short on the Rat...when the water is calm, I have significantly better results

Fishing for Suspended Bass
When I see that, the first thing I reach for is an underspin and small swimbait. If no joy, I will look for structure in the deeper part of the lake that is around the same depth. I don't waste a lot of time on them

Kids these days....
While there are clearly exceptions to this.......kids haven't changed, parents have.

Topwater.....
I don't see this as an either/or answer as they both shine in different situations. I would not through a WP in the salad and would not throw the frog in open water (some do).

Garmin maps, not accurate?
On some lakes the Navionics app is far better than the Garmin charts. Heck, on one tournament we relied on our phones more than our graphs

Cracked chest and fishing?
Think that is why so many get used to carrying a pillow around with them ?

short time bass movement?
Jim, Think that is the norm this Summer as the same things is happening here. Very reliable spots are on, then off hours later. The following day the hours are reversed. Hard to say if it is movement or going quiet. The one thing we are noticing is that the average fish seams to be bigger in normally down times.

Fishing persistent fronts..
I prefer to look at it as an opportunity. Every high pressure is right behind or before low pressure, and I like low pressure.........and the full moon is right around the corner

Cracked chest and fishing?
While that procedure is being done, it is not FDA approved for this case....

Daiwa and shimano reels
Not to muddy the water, but I would look at the Bantam for that application

Cracked chest and fishing?
I have a " friend" that is going to have heart surgery to replace a valve and he is wondering if others on this forum had been in the same situation....and how long was it before they could back on the boat. He realizes he won't be at the wheel and likely only dropshotting. He has been through this before a decade ago, so he knows the deal. Any first hand experience is appreciated... Al

Lund Pro V Bass
@A-Jay has the boat I wanted, but Mrs Bull thought the Impact would suit us/me better and this time she was right. But I still would rather have his ?

Damaged Prop
While there are definitely performance benefits with SS, many choose aluminum because replacing a prop is cheaper than the shaft. Marinas on my lake make a small fortune replacing shafts and low ends because the SS is usually stronger than both. New hubs have been developed to absorb the shock, but can still fail
