Thankful to be alive. Be careful out there this next couple of weekends.
.....heck, my lake has a 40 MPH like it during the day. Glad nothing bad happened. At night I carry a spot light that will emuminate a flyer *ss at a 100 meters. I would not hesitate to ruin someone's night vision.........at least that would stop them...

Seaguar Tatsu Vs Sunline Shooter
If I used straight FC, it would be Tatsu all the way. There is usually one great sale a year which works out to being 2 for 1 with the purchase of 4 spools. Spooling 50 yards at a time x 4 spools and your good for years!

I Can't Get Smallies' Attention
Sometimes, no matter what you through, they ain't gunna bite. It is just that simple. This is what keeps us coming back. I seldom get to rivers but when I see stubborn fish on beds in the lake and if all else fails, I throw a heavy dropshot with a trick worm on them. If nothing I move on

Be Smart in the Heat ~
Most believe one passes through heat exhaustion before entering heat stroke. While it often does, it is possible to get there in minutes. Finding shallow water and getting your butt in, is the quickest way to drop body temperature. If you can't get shallow get a life jacket on and get in the water

Interesting knot test
.....knock on wood, I have never lost a fish or broken a leader on a hook set. I have lost a few leaders on the cast, mostly with the uni/uni and when first learned the FG. For setups with braid to leader, I keep the leader a little shorter and retie more often. The risotto (sp) finished has really helped the FG. I believe that we are only a few years away from it being the most popular knot for this function

internet shopping tax?
Bingo and as well stated, most folks will see the tax at point of service. On a side note, bit coin and other electronic currencies see this as a positive for them

A question on on-board chargers
This is true unless you have long distance to run on the big motor and use you TM to move withing spots. I have a MK alternator that can top off my TM batteries for my mid week usage but will not compensate for tournaments

internet shopping tax?
Truth be told, a sales tax and business tax are the same to the end user in this case. A tax to a business is just factured into the cost of doing business, like the electric bill. In this case a separate accounting program has to be implemented for the mom and pop business which will make prices increase or profits decrease. In the end, this stifles competition. And don't think for a moment that roads are going to improve. Over the last 8 yrs, over a trillion dollars was earmarked and never made it........just sayimg

spot lock problems/ minn Kota issues
I too have a very random problem with spotlock shutting off. I noticed that when it over compensated and wires got tight, it would kick off. No problems when there is a slight breezes where little compensation is required

internet shopping tax?
A similar things g has been going on in the cigar industry. Many of the bigger retailers are established in non-tax states and states with sales tax, have been trying to get them to collect said tax. 99%of the time it doesn't happen, but I do know a guy who was sent an invoice for tax do the state he resided in. The hard part for compliance are the brick n mortor stores that also have an online presence. Going to get ugly NH......No sales tax
