  1. @Catt said 2' that's 2 feet. Yes 2" (inches) at 75 yards would be pretty absurd.
  2. Truth be told we're all getting between 400-500 yds each cast. This is why everyone is so reluctant to tell you and talked more about accuracy. You have some catching up to do. Hope this helps. ?
  3. What I'm seeing here is @Catt and @Bass_Fanatic you guys are both wrong because your results aren't the same as the OP.The tournament results aren't inline with him either. I think you could try and help him until the cows come home with TB but the results aren't inline with him and his neighbors so not much can be done. Sad
  4. Third time in six years the Wolverines have made the Elite 8. Go Blue!!!
  5. I noticed that too. I can't believe they didn't do a retake. Apparently whatever Hank decides to call something at any given time that's what it's going to be called. Lol
  6. To be honest I never have either. I've played around with them and I've researched like a mad man so I'm comfortable with my purchases when I make them. Here's what I'd do if this is the route you want to go. Put the Echomap up front. Get a Stryker Plus unit So you have Quickdraw. Even when you're up front fishing leave the Stryker unit on and Quickdraw running everywhere you go. After a day of fishing you'll have a very nice detailed map at your console unit. Also I believe the Stryker 7 and 9 can use Active Captain which you can look at maps and save waypoints from your phone, computer or and device and save it to your Plus unit. So even though it doesn't have mapping you can see the maps on Active Captain find good structure, mark it, and transfer it to your Stryker Plus unit (I believe).
  7. That would be a good set up. Sales will pop up all the time so keep your eyes peeled. A Striker unit would be good and cheap. If you don't need mapping that would go good at the console. If you got a striker plus unit You'd gain Quickdraw so that could solve your lack of mapping.
  8. For $100 more it's a no brainer, get the 73sv. You get Sidevu, DownVu, 2d, mapping, and Quickdraw. Sidevu shows fish, they are clear like with 2d and you have to know what you're looking for but yes you can see fish on Sidevu. One thing you can do to help train your eyes is have 2d on as well. That way you go over a piece of structure with Sidevu you can look at it in 2d and that'll make those fish stick out.
  9. I watched last night. Hank did a great job explaining Bassresource to the masses. @Glenn your hard work has paid off and I couldn't be happier for you and everyone involved. You two were quite the hoot to watch. I enjoyed the crack he made after you caught the Bluegill and the one he made when you almost went overboard! Well done.
  10. I see we have a difference of opinion on what fun is. ?
  11. Are you getting the 2 mixed up. Chris is the one who's been in major slump since last year.
  12. With the pedigree of all involved at Vexus I'm not so sure there's anything to prove or really test.
  13. My line up Christie Wheeler Crews Cherry Morris My first two are doing great, hopefully Cherry can come around.
  14. They have an 18' 10" one too with a 115 on the back with a base just under $26k so really that's not outrageously expensive is it?
  15. Base price is $32k that includes an 80lb Ultrex and I believe it said 150 G2 The apricot (their color name) boats we saw in the videos goes for $42k. These have a huge transom compartment so there's no issue with Power Poles you can get them rigged from the factory with Power Poles. What I found interesting is the gas tank is at the center of the boat. Not too shabby.
  16. I did look at the link he posted and it doesn't look cheap. Wishful thinking on my behalf I guess. I guess we'll see at some point today I believe.
  17. I've stated on here before I have no business experience or business sense at all, but wouldn't it make sense to have your launch boat be affordable so you can sell more and get more people talking about your product? Or is this backwards thinking? In my tiny little brain it makes perfect sense, but maybe that's why I'm not a businessman.
  18. Or by legendary they mean top of the line, top notch craftsmanship at a price the average Joe can afford?
  19. This has came up before and I believe scratches didn't effect the imaging.
  20. I'm leaning the other way. I think they'll be competitive with the Lund Renegade and the Ranger RT.
  21. Looks cool so far. It'll be interesting to see the price.
  22. It's called hype. Have you seen all the talk over this company and they haven't revealed a single boat yet. I'd say their marketing have done it's job so far. Now if there's all this hype and these boats are no different than any other then I'd say it's it's a failure. We'll see tomorrow.
