Cool tell me how it works for you though be wary of the easy line twists with the small reels, light line and light lure. I was thinking of go to more of a 80oz this spring

The leader is more so that My line last longer and if I get hung up in rip rap I can just pop it easily without risking too much line loss if it snaps

Yeah it varies for everyone some may fish farm ponds others local lakes and some the Great Lakes. But bass fisherman tend to want 2 million rods so I wanted to see what ppl choose with only a 3 rod selection to see what they think works best for them

Yeah the water temperature for the larger river is going to drop a little slower also the fishing was slow only a few dinks

Focus would be mostly largemouth and smallmouth

I fish the fox river in Illinois but sounds like the weather is about the same 70s to 60s

I'm going to the river to get some smallies but it's been cold recently I'll let you know if its yeay or nay

Yeah it's a blast I use 6 pld ultracast with the drag set low and when they hit it the drag starts singing. Most carp I catch are around 20-27"
