Post a photo a day!
Saw him in Hamburg, Germany, 1983. He has a lot of fans over there, I'll never forget the air drummers going at it when he worked all those drums. I was looking for some old pictures I took there, but the wife moved them on me. I know it takes a village to make a band, but I don't believe Rush would have been as popular without him.

Never Forget ~
I remember a time when a young soldier couldn't wear his uniform when traveling through airports in this country. (Vietnam) This was a tragic event that changed our lives forever. The days that followed especially changed mine as I witnessed the thousands of young men and women across this country walk into the recruiting stations to serve their country. I was so proud to be an American when I saw this.

Chatterbait (bladed jig)
Thanks AJay! I had received a couple of these as a "service" along with a JDM order this past winter and forgot I had them. I'll throw em in the jig box and give a try. How does the blade hold up?

Journal/Notebook?
Old school here, I use leather bound journals that read more like daily journals. I do include hand drawn maps and pictures. I'm hoping my kids and grandchildren enjoy reading them someday.

New Okie here
Welcome Lloyd! Not a real Okie here, transplanted after retiring from the Army and recently retired from a second career. (teaching) Maybe our kayaks will cross paths someday.

Found a few dead Bass fry
Bingo! We've been checking oxygen levels every week at refuge since mid July. Finally got some rain last week and we're starting to see better levels.

I love Siebert jigs. I like to tie my own skirts and I've been using the Dredge jigs for a few years now, sharpest hooks out there.

Thinking About Fall Fishing
While loading the kayak this morning to come home, I caught a glimpse of Orion rising in the east. Fall transition is right around the corner.
